Police Suspend Officer at Ferguson: 'I Will F****** Kill You' to Protestors
Truth Revolt ^ | 8/21/2014 | Sarah Fisher

An officer who was working at the Ferguson protests was caught on camera pointing a semi-automatic weapon at a peaceful demonstrator and saying "I will f****ng kill you." Yesterday, it was announced the police officer was suspended indefinitely.

The incident just before midnight on Tuesday punctuated the 11th straight night of racially charged demonstrations in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, since Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old, was slain by a white police officer.

No one was hurt in the gun-pointing confrontation, but the incident underscored what many have criticized as heavy-handed and unprofessional police tactics that have helped stoke continuing civil unrest.

According to an official account from the St. Louis County Police Department, an unnamed policeman from the neighboring community of St. Ann leveled his weapon at a Ferguson protester "after a verbal exchange," and that a superior county officer, a sergeant, quickly intervened.

According to a statement from the county police department, the sergeant "immediately took action, forcing the officer to lower the weapon and escorting him away from the area."

At one point, he is heard yelling, "I will f****ng kill you, get back, get back," before the sergeant calmly steps in to defuse the situation, orders him to lower the weapon and leads him away from cameras.

"The unified command strongly feel these actions are inappropriate, and not indicative of the officers who have worked daily to keep the peace," the police statement said.

It said the officer in question had been relieved of duty and suspended indefinitely but gave no further details of any investigation or discipline he might face.

Officer was held to a higher standard ... Prison for emotions? Do you too not have emotions?

Mark my words, there will be PTSD disability payments going to these Ferguson police officers for many years to come.

Toss piss on random people on the street and see what their reaction is, let us know how you make out.

You sound like some dumba$$ kid that thinks adults will laugh off your school pranks.

Suspended indefinitely?

Hell, he should be fired and then jailed for assault with a deadly weapon.

Allowing an idiot like this to keep his job only feeds the Left/RGI narrative.

How come there is nothing at all in this article that describes what the protester did to get that response from the cop? Seem’s to me that we’re only one half of the story.

Typical BS Slanted Media if you ask me.

“police said early Wednesday. Missouri Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson, who’s in charge of security in Ferguson, said police responded to fewer incidents overnight. Although urine and bottles were thrown at officers and National Guard troops deployed in Ferguson, “there were no Molotov cocktails tonight, there were no shootings,”

The ability to keep your cool is a major requirement for a police officer. I worry about my son, who wants to pursue a law enforcement career. It's too easy to get him angry, and he likes to come off as a "tough guy". I'm going to remember that the next time my wife tells me I've been too hard on him.

My last line flopped with her: "By the time I was his age (25), I had been a Platoon Leader in Germany for two years, with responsibility for up to 40 men (I had both Chaparral platoons for about 9 months due to personnel shortages during the Carter Administration)."

He can't deal with a father who expects him to man up and move out of the house? He's certainly not ready to be a police officer.

Good.
He does not have the emotional stability to be an armed government employee.

‘18-year old documented violent thug Michael Brown’ has a nice ring to it.

Prison for emotions? Do you too not have emotions?

My emotions typically don't drive me to raise a firearm towards a crowd and tell them that "I will f**king kill you."

If you, or I, or anyone else here did that, we'd be arrested on the spot.

An officer who was working at the Ferguson protests was caught on camera pointing a semi-automatic weapon at a peaceful demonstrator and saying "I will f****ng kill you."

The asterisks censor out what he actually was saying: "I will f****ail to ever be want****ing (to) kill you."

I readily admit that I would make an absolutely terrible cop.

I'd make a great cop.

Are you okay with taking someone else’s excrement to the face? Would you not become emotional?

The cop is definitely an idiot but the camera operator sounds like a liberal douchebag to me. I wish the cops would leave Ferguson and let the liberal journalist fend for themselves all night.

Yes, I would probably become emotional. No one is disputing that the cop had reason to be emotional, only what he did when he became emotional.

Man declares, “I will f*cking kill you” and point a firearm at you.

Under those circumstances that appears to be a lethal threat that would make someone fear for their life. Would someone eventually shoot that man in self defense?
