The State Department downplayed comments from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) leaders that they are at war with America, arguing that their violence is not directed at any particular country or race.
At a briefing Thursday, a reporter brought up anti-American comments from ISIL leaders: “I mean, even they are announcing, ISIL people in their message, whatever, the recorded message, other messages, that now we are in a war with America.”
“This is not about ISIL versus the United States,” State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf objected. “They are killing anyone who gets in their way: Sunnis, Shia Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Iraqis, Syrians, anyone who gets in their way — and now an American.”
“So this is not about what the United States is or isn’t doing,” Harf continued. “This is about ISIL stated a commitment to murder, rape, enslave people who don’t agree with their ideology and who get in their way.”
“But they are announcing that it’s a war against America,” the reporter pressed. “Right or wrong, that’s what they are saying.”
Harf maintained, “Well, they can say whatever they’d like, but what I am making clear is that’s not what ISIL represents. And they don’t represent any religion. They are at war with everybody they come into contact with.”
Just like we could shrug off Al Qaeda before 9/11, eh?

The group says they are at war with you - Islamists have been saying it for decades - and in spite of their own declarations against you, you - Holder - chose to deny they are at war with us.
The pretense - all over the west - that we are not at war with global violent Islamic jihad, ONLY provides means and solace to their apologists - which are legion in the west and actively subverting the west, and hurts the cause of anyone fighting them.
We are not at war with ISIL - that would require both sides to act in a military manner. We are more like the women, children, journalists, and Christians that are being beheaded by ISIL - they are committing murders against defenseless victims, and our leaders and cowering while hoping they will not be next and that the murders will stay off the front page most of the time. If ISIL will work slowly, they will not interfere with the progressive progress toward National/Soviet/Fabian/Whatever socialism, which is all that our leftist leadership cares about.
Declare war on the Islamic State. Then we can use the Geneva Convention. They’re all out of uniform and hanging is allowed. Let’s get a move on, folks.

At some point, and I’m not talking about the folks on FR, the American people will realize that the US Dept of State is nothing but a bunch of Arab Loving, Islmamic Sympathizing, degenerate, drug/alcohol abusers, live of the Amercian taxpayers even though I hate America and all that it stands for, Ivy League Douchebag, Socialist, Communist, Cronyists, MFer’s this country has ever known. And will gladly slash the funding for it, to allow only embassies with small staffs for US travelers abroad. Other than that, they have no real purpose anymore as our two most recent SecState’s have shown/are showing.
The next POTUS needs first accept that ISIL is a nation state and then simply declare war on the country. Then use the Geneva Convention and hang spies and saboteurs or give them the Dostler treatment.
Ha! This would be funny if it wasn’t so freakin scary. The Obama administration can deny it all they want it doesn’t change the fact that ISIL is saying they are at war with us.
There isn’t a single, sane adult in Washington, is there.

If someone says that they are at war with you, then a state of war exists.. Acknowledge that fact. Then, and only then, do you determine the threat level and your course of action...which may range anywhere from laughing at them to launching a full-scale nuclear strike. The lack of any kind of rational or logical reasoning process among the children at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. both amazes and terrifies me.

This is the exact same mentality of many who voted for Obama.
When someone would point out to them, the hateful comments Obama had made regarding America, and how he intended to cut America down to size; they would respond, “He didn’t really mean it!”
Unfortunately, he did mean it.
