Which one’s aren’t being used? For H1B visas (I would guess that is what is being proposed here), there were supposedly over double the number of applications than available visas

And let’s keep buying the cheapest shit we can from China, Vietnam, Colombia... Shortsighted consumers think they're getting a bargain when they hire illegal laborers, or purchase goods from third world countries, but in fact, they're destroying the jobs and incomes of their family and neighbors.
Step back far enough to get a good look at the big picture, and it's clear that we're paying a LOT more than we used to. If this state of affairs continues for much longer, Americans won't be able to afford anything but cheap Chinese goods and Mexican labor.
