RBI (Reviving Baseball in the Innercity) is a wonderful cause. This is good for baseball and great for kids.
50-60 years ago, you had big city HS basketball superstars like Tommy Davis and Frank Robinson choosing baseball over basketball. I bet a lot of today’s NBA players throw like girls.

That whole tournament has been a hoot. Imo, the star of the tournament was Ruy Martinez of Mexico. 4’8” x 85 pounds of baseball wizardry.
It’s been fun.
They have no picthing left. The Koreans have all their picthing available.
While the Chicago team can hit it is not to the level of the Koreans. The one edge Chicago may have is base running and good infield defense.
I watched the Koreans play 3 times. Once live and twice on TV. Hope Chicago can pull it out but the odds are against them.

Go to any “African”-American and ask them to name 10 African countries, bet you 99.9% of them couldn’t do it.
Isn’t 12-13 years old middle aged for African American males in Chicago? Is it fair to let a middle aged team to play against a bunch of kids?
