I was referring to Obama’s recent claim about IS(IS/IL). Maybe I ought to have put it in quotation marks. He claimed them to be “nihilistic” as well, while obliquely trying to cover up the inherent nihilism within Islam
Olog-Hai, it seems to me that Obama is just a little too self-serving here. What has ISIS/ISIL done that Islam teaches is wrong?
They are trying to set up a massive regional caliphate
They are taking possession of large tracts of land in the name of Islam
This caliphate will be used as a springboard to take further ownership outside the region in other nations
They are cleansing the occupied territories of infidels
They are enforcing the tried and true tenets of Islam as it applies to women
They have killed people in mass. So what? Aren’t these deaths prescribed by the Koran for different sorts of infractions? Haven’t the same ‘denouncers’ remained silent when terrorist perpetrated these acts before?
A woman is stoned because she has been raped? Any criticism on point? No.
A woman is beaten for not wearing a veil. Any criticism on point? No.
A woman’s sex organ is butchered so her capacity to enjoy intercourse with her husband will be severely diminished. Any criticism on point? No.
Obama never speaks out against these things. Now all of a sudden they are wrong. It’s laughable.
Nihilism? Where? The forces of ISIS/ISIL are implementing the very tenets of Islam. Obama just doesn’t like it when it’s so crystal clear what Islam is all about.
Thus he claims their actions aren’t a part of Islam, when they absolutely are.
He knows it. The leaders of Islam know it. Most everyone here knows it.
Obama can go pound sand. He’s a liar, and he’s in good company with the people he has sworn to stand with.
