What a question, I noticed when you left Denmark you picked the US of A. Good choice. I traveled the world while I was a Marine. We have a lot of problems here, always have. But I’ll take freedom, just like you did over Communism any day of the week. I’ve seen up close the results of Communism. Despair,hopelessness,
no smiling, fear, people just give up and their buildings and grounds keeping all reflect that. It’s a mess. It doesn’t work anyplace it’s ever been tried. It’s the only system that builds fences, to keep people in, not out. Family’s get on rubber tubes in the middle of the night and go thru shark infested waters to get away from it. Ya know where they are headed don’t ya? here.
All the people from the Ukraine wanted was a crack at it.
But the commie said no. What did these people ever do to you, well never mind.

I probably seen more countries than you, or ever will. Professional career from being 30+ years in the private Merchant Marine. Last 13 years with ESSO/EXXON and personally dealt with visiting countries’ Authorities. Let alone more shore leaves than in the Navy. Was three years in ALL three Danish military forces before that. Including five (5) years of Nazi occupation in my former country from being 9 to 14 years old.
Came here 1983 for the reason you pointed out FREEDOM, but mostly Free Enterprising or Capitalism. But that was THEN, but it changed rapidly 2008/09 into a socialistic/Islamic government, and seeing more communism here than last I visit Russia after the fall of USSR. When you have puppet masters like Saudis/Soros/Rothschild’s pulling the strings we are doomed with 50+% Americans at sleep and drinking the “poisoned” Kool-Aid. It’s time to wake up and get the heads out of the sand dunes !!!
