Jonathan Contreras, 20; Orlando Cruz, 24; and Gonzalo Medina, 22, all of San Bernardino, face two counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and one count of possession of an assault weapon, prosecutors said. An assault rifle with high-capacity magazines and a revolver were recovered at the scene, officials said.

As a cop the only thing that frightens me about so called “assault weapons” is they go through my body armor.

Not news worthy enough, the cop didn’t get killed, it wasn’t some black cop and the Hispanics did the shooting. Nothing to see here, move along. Now if that had been a black cop shot by a white, all hell would have broken loose. The news media is so out of kilter.
