The sad truth remains that 5% of FReepers support 100% of FR. Can you imagine what it would be like if we had 10% support? These things would wrap up in days, not months.
When I joined FR ten years ago, it was not uncommon to git 'er done in 7-10 days. It was less expensive 10 years ago, but, it really shouldn't take two months.
Not everybody can donate. I get that. But, I'm certain that we have some among the 95% that are FReeploading. Harsh words, but I know it's true.
Imagine no FR. No way to get the REAL news that affects us all. No pool of talent to ferret out the real truth. No ability to call BS when we see it.
The list goes on.
We need your help. We need new donors. We need new blood.
If you've never donated, give it a whirl. If you donate once in a while, try monthly donations. It's really painless.

And yet every quarter the bills get paid. I think some people have a over active view of their self importance. I have a list of people I'd like to see be run off and I'm sure I'm on someone else's list. We may be a somewhat dysfunctional family but somehow we make it work.

It was just a few weeks ago that a team of FReeper Patriots protected Texas from the swarm of criminal invaders. Since your stand on the Rio Grande, the flow of invaders has slowed to a trickle. I'd call that real activism with quantifiable results.
Yup. Those who come onto our fundraising threads to be disruptive and attack members of our dedicated, hard working fundraising team get run off. Actually, I politely asked him by freepmail to leave the thread and quit attacking our fundraising crew. He chose to quit FR altogether instead. But that’s probably for the best in this case. When a disgruntled poster gets so bitter against us, they rarely turn it around. They usually keep up the attacks until they eventually get the zot. His opus saves us all a lot of grief.
Funny how that works.
