I know! :) I had some personal matters that demanded attention.

Here's a pic of some of our tomatoes and jalapenos that Mr. T. harvested today:

We grew them from seed. :)

That’s a nice crop. Our garden didn’t do very well at all this year for some reason.

Thanks! It was a cold summer. I didn’t think that we were going to get much of anything, but then we had a few warm days, and it made all the difference. We’re going to do it all again next summer. :)

I started ours indoors from seed in January or February and moved them outside into the full sun after Mother's Day.
It was 10 Tomatoes plants, 5 Basil plants, 5 Sweet pepper plants and 5 Jalapeno pepper plants. We got maybe a dozen tomatoes, one Jalapeno (LOL) and no sweet peppers. The only thing that did well is the basil. That's still going strong but one of them bolted.

I don't think that we started our seeds until late March or early April. We weren't able to put anything outside until May 28th, and it was touch and go, since we were still getting temps in the 30s at night from time to time through much of June. We've had lows in the high 40s already since about mid-August. I'd like to start our seeds in early March next year, except for the lettuce, which we can grow inside:

This cart has wheels, so we can move it inside for the winter.
