WASHINGTON — With their Senate majority imperiled, Democrats are trying to mobilize African-Americans outraged by the shooting in Ferguson, Mo., to help them retain control of at least one chamber of Congress for President Obama’s final two years in office.
In black churches and on black talk radio, African-American civic leaders have begun invoking the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, along with conservative calls to impeach Mr. Obama, as they urge black voters to channel their anger by voting Democratic in the midterm elections, in which minority turnout is typically lower.

Last weekend, Trayvon Martin’s father urged people to register as he appeared on stage at a peace rally in St. Louis. Over a period of several hours, though, few people came forward to register.
He's dead. He no longer has a right to privacy.

Perhaps they don't really believe Michael Brown was an innocent. Maybe what they are looking for is the right to maim and kill non-blacks with impunity. Given the way Holder is looking at the disparate impact of various laws on the black population (i.e. roughly half of the prison population is black vs 12% of the nation's population), the time may be ripe for decriminalizing various offenses or reducing prison sentences if those offenses are committed by blacks.
The ‘Rats have a vision - not needing Blacks, they can be shoved under the bus, to make room for the new ‘Rat “professional” voter base - the Criminaliens.
If you register to vote, you may get called for jury duty and as the lady said, “ain’t nobody got time for that.”
Blacks voted at a higher rate than whites in 2012. If this rate is repeated in 2014, I'd expect a similar result to 2012, with no gains for the GOP.
Blacks voted at a higher rate this year than other minority groups and for the first time in history may also have voted at a higher rate than whites, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of census data, election day exit poll data and vote totals from selected cities and counties.
Unlike other minority groups whose increasing electoral muscle has been driven mainly by population growth, blacks’ rising share of the vote in the past four presidential elections has been the result of rising turnout rates.
