You get it. I get it. How many people do? Every day, some “conservative” writes a piece about what “Obama” needs to do to revive the economy, etc. IIRC, in 1943, there were no newspaper columnists writing letters of advice to Hitler on how to restore good will in Europe.

“And while his foreign policy has generally left chaos and disorder behind it — see: Libya, Egypt — it’s an obvious improvement on his predecessor’s. “

Obummer’s foreign policy is go golfing and hope the terrorists win before there is too much pressure on him to do something.

So, the twerp writing this tripe admits that Iraq is unhappy. So he tacitly admits that conditions there under Bush were better than now.

Is Syria better off?

Is Libya better off?

Egypt is now about the same--with the exception that the millitary-run government no longer trusts us.

Ask the Ukrainians if they are better off.

Ask the Israelis how relations are with the U.S.

Ask the Polish Defense Minister about U.S. policy.

What a maroon!

Any bets that the Choom Gang Museum will be in Colorado and have a head room?

The Sultan’s cowardice outweighs the Final Move. Maybe.

Everybody is certain that the Republicans will retain the House and win the Senate this election season. But remember: Obama won his second term in office through massive voter fraud, which has been proven time and again. And even then he just barely squeaked by. How many disinterested, low-info “voters” will be herded to the polls in this coming election with bribes of free cigarettes, booze and reefer, and encouraged to vote early and often? If they don’t have ID, then Obama will just scream “racism!” and they will be allowed to vote anyway. And let’s not forget all the long-dead voters who have kept the Democrat Party alive all this time. Don’t take anything for granted.

0bama's legacy is a Democrat party increasingly Leftist, increasingly strident, openly racist and anti-American. The Dems are left to triangulate that into an electable position starring either Hillary as, heaven help us, a moderate, or Elizabeth Warren as the Loony Left du jour, adept perhaps as winning an election but not, as her predecessor, at governing anything. We will, instead, be treated to the notion that it's A Woman's Turn and that only leftwing wymmyn need apply.

In point of fact, the Left has just about run out of liberation movements to hide behind, unless the First Gay President becomes a thing and I wouldn't put a plug nickel on that, not that the media wouldn't go insane with enthusiasm for such a campaign, should it bubble up like a noxious gas in a cesspool. At some point somebody serious is going to have to come forward and his name will not be Mitt Romney.

What this individual will need to do is sell a program that consists of treating our friends as friends and our enemies as enemies, the latter focusing on Islamic militarism and recognizing that those who support it are not our friends whoever they turn out to be. A program that includes an open and contemptuous disdain for "leaders" who think the country needs to be subordinated to some transcendental progressive doctrine that holds that the country must be destroyed in order to be saved.

This will not be easy. Incredibly, these are not popular ideas in the fashionable districts of academia or popular culture. Those have used up their credit, led us down a path of whimpering self-guilt, demanded that we mortify the flesh and abase the spirit in pursuit of a Greater Good that they, who will be enriched by it, can envision but that we, the unworthy who will pay for it, cannot see.

In short, it's time for the con game to end, the fantasy world to acknowledge the real one, the thieves to be named for what they are. Because we're running out of non-violent options.

He had a supermajority when first elected!

Needs more time = not worth the political heat.

It was pretty much making sense until he said Obama’s foreign policy was an improvement on Bush’ s. File under “yeah right sure just keep telling yourself that”.

This is like Rome, before the fall.

We let Ted Kennedy turn immigration on its head. We now have a majority of citizens in this country that hate its founding, its founders, its patriots and its traditions.

Obama is the symptom. He is just the Jackass they elected to commit the murder of George Washington's revolution. The destruction of liberty.

My children may very well live to see the union dissolved. Once the currency is trash and we are speaking several languages, all bets are off.

B. Hussein Obama is TERRIFIED that Putin and/or ISIS will beat him on the Field of Battle.

Putin and ISIS have called Obama’s Bluff, and the entire World is watching.

Will Harry Reid do the honorable thing, as Goldwater did for Nixon, and tell Obama it is time to Resign?

“Just how can anyone credibly claim that Obama’s foreign policy is an obvious improvement?”

Yeah, and Bush left Iraq basically as an American victory.

It took Obama’s failure to negotiate a status of forces agreement to turn Iraq into the worst terrorist haven ever — after we spent a billion dollars to stop it.

And while his foreign policy has generally left chaos and disorder behind it — see: Libya, Egypt — it's an obvious improvement on his predecessor's.

There is now an Islamist state operating in huge swathes of Syria and Iraq -- ISIS. That is no improvement over the situation in 2008 unless you have your head straight up your ass.

INVASION OF THE HOMELAND? Hello????

Happened already. Imagine trying to explain to a time-traveler from the 1950s, that the US won the Cold War. He asks, So then why is there a Marxist in the White House?

Barring an economy-tanking incident, or an invasion of the homeland, we have a whole lot of not much to look forward to until Jan. 20, 2017.

In view of the reality that there are not just two, but dozens of lurking issues that could come to the front burner.

I think the odds say that we will have more on our plate then we want or need before Jan 20, 2017.
