A decision by organizers of the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade to allow one gay organization to march is a disappointment after decades of fighting by gay groups for full participation, several advocates said Wednesday.
Some were dismayed that the organizers had chosen just one lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender group to participate next year after ending a ban on them. Others expressed continuing mistrust.

Their purpose is to destroy the good in society, especially a family gathering outside that celebrates Catholicism. Read Dolan’s words...he will focus on the mass and the feast day.
You are right. Everyone else should get together and warn organizers that they will not attend a parade that features even one homosexual group. No other biblically forbidden act is held up for esteem. Let the parade be guarded so that it can remain a wholesome event. Featuring even one homosexual propaganda participant is one too many. Stick to what you know is right, Catholic leaders.
As with Marriage, this is a time to remind everyone that this isn’t a secular event.
If people want to use city streets for a secular event, then the Holy Roman Catholic Church should pull out altogether and tell everyone to stop the drinking on March 17 and to pray for the souls that are defaming the name of SAINT Parrick.
These organizations are not about equality or “pride.” They are for superiority and power. They won’t be happy until EVERYTHING is all gay all the time.
I have not read a statement by the Hibernians on this.
Catholic League seems resigned to this, I don’t know how this affects the Beer Boycotts in NYC and Boston.
Even one group is a foot in the door, and Gays will lobby to let all these groups in. Five gays 20 gay groups.
Which is worse image Irish Drunk and Puking or Gays naked and kissing, while passing St. Pat’s Cathedral.
Its a mess and I would say this isn’t over by a long shot.
They won’t be happy until it’s all about them instead of St. Patrick Day.
