I always found her funny in spite of the vulgarity; but her performances on Celebrity Apprentice impressed me deeply with her intelligence, energy and drive. Respect.
Wikipedia says she was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of an Ivy League college, Barnard (sister school of Columbia from the days when women weren't admitted to the men's club). Her mother was not Jewish (surprise), her father was, and he was a doctor, so she had an educated background, and majored in English and anthropology.
I also had not known that her husband Edgar Rosenberg was German born, whose family fled to England to escape the Nazis, and who was educated at a private school and Cambridge University. Small wonder she recognized the creeping threats in the world today and called it as she saw it.
Such as:
Tell the truth...
Act selflessly...
Take communion...
That is interesting, a lot of that was NOT in the NY Times obit, which I read because jay nordlinger over at NRO said it was excellent, it was OK, I mean they are good at that kind of stuff.
Yes, I really was amazed with her on Celebrity Apprentice, she worked harder than anyone. There are very few people in the world whom I would be willing to hire, but she was one of them. Nothing was too menial for her, she just ground it out, no moaning and groaning.
Joel Osteen tell you that? Sorry
I hope she is in heaven also, I hope everybody goes to heaven, but my Bible says we have to accept what Jesus did on the cross for our sins, that he died for our sins and repent also. No I have no idea what her last words to God might have been, hopefully she was able to ask for mercy!
Joel is not sure he believes in sin that`s why Oprah Winfrey is so crazy about him.
