Wife's weeping over anti-union law drove Dem DA to target Wis gov, staff & conservatives for 5 yrs
The Daily Mail ^ | September 10, 2014

A Democratic district attorney who has pursued Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker over alleged campaign finance violations told a fellow prosecutor that his crying wife, a union official, drove him to hunt the governor and his conservative allies because of his anti-union laws feared by organized labor.

The explosive revelation came Tuesday as lawyers for Milwaukee DA John Chisholm began two days of oral arguments in a Chicago courtroom over earlier rulings that effectively ended his wide-ranging investigation.

The investigation aimed to show that conservative groups were illegally working hand-in-hand with Walker's office when they ran 'issue ads' pressing the case that public employee unions should face reforms. Such arrangements, attorneys say, are common on both sides of the political aisle – including President Barack Obama's longstanding coordination with Priorities USA Action and other 'super PACs.'

Leaders of virtually every conservative political nonprofit in the Badger State, 29 in all, have found themselves swept up in Chisholm's criminal probe as they were hit with pre-dawn raids that seized their computers, cell phones, email records – and even a child's iPad.

Armed police kept many of them from contacting their lawyers or corralling their children in some cases while they executed searches initiated by Chisholm over a period of a year and a half.

Republicans have accused Chisholm of using heavy-handed tactics, furthered by police using floodlights to illuminate suburban homes as flashing squad cars jammed driveways and cul-de-sacs.

None of the targets of the searches were ever convicted of any crime, and few were charged.....

Political advocacy groups working with the governor? Bad!
Union advocacy groups influencing prosecutors office? Good?

I’m thinking Chisholm was trading sex for influence.

Liberalism is moral zeal unrestrained by patience or humility or respect for the rule law.

The irony is that there is nothing moral about liberalism. Ordinary, every day liberals might be merely clueless, but liberal leaders are pure evil, manipulating their followers to give them power. And we all know about power.

Compare the treatment of this story with that of the “Christie Bridgegate” non-story; here in NJ I saw a headline where people were remembering the horrible traffic of that day on the anniversary (which still has never been tied to Christie). It was sensationalized as though they were remembering 9/11...

We aren’t in a Banana Republic; we are in a gulag.

Democrat corruption runs rampant from the top down. It's so widespread they can't keep it under wraps.

Sept 9, 2014

Issa: Justice Dept. staffer made a bad call "Attorney General Eric Holder’s communications director is being accused of calling the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s Republican staff and asking for help spinning a story. The twist? The GOP staff alleges that Holder’s spokesman thought he was talking to the Democrats.

Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) sent a letter to Holder on Monday about the incident, saying he was “extremely troubled” that the Justice Department may have been trying to coordinate with the minority staff on the release of documents to the committee regarding the Internal Revenue Service targeting certain political groups.

Issa’s letter claims that Brian Fallon asked for a specific committee aide and then told that person that he wanted to get materials to “interested reporters” before sending them to the majority, so that the agency could spin the story first....

[SNIP]

...In the letter, first reported Tuesday by the Hill newspaper, Issa determines that the call is an indication of a “longstanding collaboration between the Obama administration and Ranking Member [Elijah] Cummings’ staff to obfuscate and prejudice the Committee’s work through under the table coordination.

[SNIP]

Becca Watkins, a spokeswoman for the oversight panel, emphasized that point in an e-mailed statement, saying Fallon’s alleged conspiring compromised the checks and balances of the federal government.

Issa also claims that upon realizing that he was talking to a Republican staffer, Fallon was “audibly shaken” and tried to recant his request to leak the documents early."

You got it exactly about the liberal mindset. Just think of them as mini-Stalinists

This is a tactic from the left, Lawfare. The idea is to prosecute any and all political opposition using campaign finance laws to arrest, prosecute, and criminalize any conservative fund raising. It gets played up in the cooperative media with the “all conservatives are corrupt hypocrites” template to educate the masses that being conservative is a crime both legally and morally. They also get the added benefit of tying up the conservative organizations in court spending any money available defending themselves and not for their main mission in the political arena. The leftist prosecutors also get to see donor list which they can leak to the leftist media or use to widen their “investigation” to prevent any more donations to these “criminal organizations”.This is why our friends the democracts are so eager to push “campaign finance reform laws”.Of course Teacher’s Unions,Municipal & State Employees Unions, the NAACP or any of Soro’s funded front groups wouldn’t have any trouble as these are civic minded organizations that are only out to improve the public welfare and educate the public politically with the “real facts”.

You are 100% accurate. You understand Democrat tactics. FOLLOW THE MONEY. This is how the Dems use public money (this prosecutor) to steal money from conservative organizations by forcing them to pay large legal bills

The distillation is ___
to defund the right through various means
WHILE
Funding all kinds of liberal NGOs with taxpayers money. Robbing the productive private sector citizens who tend to vote right not left

It's scarcely arguable that, in the political sense, liberalism is on the ropes.
Obama spent their last nickel. They have lost the House and will lose the
Senate, with little chance of regaining them in the near future.
..great piece to energize; the Conservatives, displeased/patriotic Dem. if the margins
are wide enough, the D'Rats can't cheat the vote..an 10% would be about right. 😉

(DNC supplied) Wash. DC hooker/slut and a bottle to ease any pain.

IF she is a ‘teacher’ in the inner city of Milwaukee with the feral ‘yutes’ there, she is WAAAAY too thin-skinned to be there.

Anti-union movements made her cry all the time????

This is the biggest problem she has?

She ain’t going to like the shooting war that is coming.

I left Milwaukee in early 1964. It already was a hell-hole then.

This is a tactic from the left, Lawfare.

And Scott Walker and now Rick Perry need to find ways to send those responsible to prison for 500 years. This is where the line must be drawn.
