Germany opens doors to immigrants to fuel economy

BERLIN — When Marie Duness-Rose, 39, immigrated to Germany from Bulgaria 10 years ago, she left a lot behind, she says. But now she holds a management degree and runs a thriving bistro serving Balkan food in a popular neighborhood in Berlin. She is one of about 6.2 million non-German citizens in the country and one of about 15 million — or 19 percent of the total population — who are not ethnically German. That percentage is one of the highest proportions of immigrants in any European country, and it is not expected to decrease any time soon. Last month, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development determined that Germany is the world's second most popular destination for immigrants after the United States. Unlike many other countries with large immigrant populations, Germany's government and industry wants it to stay that way."

Looks like the German elite is as hell bent on national self destruction as our own.

Maybe we can send/rent them the "children" border jumpers that Obama is collecting?

Or better yet, send Germany our own 59,000,000 un and under employed so we can shift our welfare burden to someone else and have our expats wire their money back here just like Mexico does it?

The best way to advance the lot of the working and middle class is to have labor shortages drive up wages and the pressure to continually advance productivity thru innovation and capital investment.

The moment ancient Rome became a "slave economy", it ossified, decayed, then fell. The unending flow of "free slave labor" acquired from Imperial conquests destroyed the Roman yeomanry and small craftsmen class..the very foundation of Roman virtue and strength while concentrating wealth in a small corrupt crony class.

If we were screening our immigrants to mainly allow in people in their most productive years fleeing socialist countries because they hate socialism, we would be better off. However, that is detriment to the democrat party agenda.

I was stationed in Germany and can tell you that Germans and Americans for that matter, had far more to fear from the Turkish “guest workers” than the Turks had to fear from Germans.
