The lurid, stereotypical tale of Sarah Palin and her family entering into an alcohol-fueled melee at a snowmobile party is starting to pick up in the mainstream media, with Good Morning America devoting an entire segment to the story this morning. In doing so, they talked to Eric Thompson, an eyewitness who attended the party at the invitation of his boss.
But Thompson, who also gave his account to Alaskan political blogger Amanda Coyne, was fired today for talking to the media.

The ONLY way I’d have any interest in this story would be if it turned out that current Alaskan ‘RAT Senator Mark Begich has his butt kicked by one of the Palin daughters at the party.

Agree 100%. Seeing how all the rancid Dems along with the weak-kneed RINOs react by getting the “vapors” over this story (which is in all likelihood wildly embellished, especially any part coming from those two rabid anti-Palin bloggers who have a long, long history of broadcasting scurrilous lies about the Palins, including the whole Sarah-faked-her-pregnancy nonsense), really tells me a lot about the state of America circa-2014... we’ve become a nation of pathetic rabbits.
I mean, I really hate that it’s come to this, and it makes me even cringe to confront this reality. But it comes into sharper focus each and every day.
Because there wasn’t anything worth filming or taking a still photograph of, for that matter.
We all know everyone at that party had a cell phone with an internal camera. If the Palins were involved in such a brawl there would be photographs. Lots of photographs.

No other former VP candidate in our history, winner or loser. has remained as relevant on the American political and cultural scene as long as Sarah Palin.
In fact, she is of greater political relevance than Joe Biden.
Sarah is certainly of greater relevance than Hillary Clinton and is likely the opponent Hillary most fears in 2016.
Sarah is not “just a celebrity,” she is our hope, she will be to America in 2016 what Reagan was to America in 1980.

Don’t just assume something isn’t true because you don’t like it. This is likely true to some extent. But, and MUCH more importantly ... who cares? Drinking and fighting. No one was seriously hurt. Happens.

If by that you mean that most of us aren’t narcissists who can’t easily achieve the degree of duplicity and superficiality exhibited all too commonly by candidates for the Presidency, then you are likely correct.
Sarah Palin is not going to run for president. I don’t think she wants to run for president or any other office ever again. And who can blame her for feeling that way?
