A new video has been released by militants purporting to show the 44-year-old aid worker being executed

The terrain in the new ISIS video appears very similar to the background where Steven Sotloff was beheaded.

Based on his appearance and voice, we believe the executioner is also the same - the infamous Jihadi John.

The killer, who is believed to be British and has a London accent, was first shown beheading American journalist James Foley, 40, in August.

Amazing how easy it is for these people to get our attention and show us how utterly helpless our president is.

I would like to hope I would be defiant. After the first guy got killed I’m pretty sure I would know my fate. But never been in that situation...who knows.

This is going to be a weird thought...when the first beheading happened (as far back as Daniel Pearl) I was sick.I am sure it was to scare and make everyone afraid of them (and no, I haven’t seen any footage of the actual event). Right now, after seeing those poor men in that situation all it has done is make me totally infuriated and want these savages wiped from the face of the earth. Yep. I couldn't agree more. Someone of great character and courage must be the first among us to step forward, and say: "Fear Not! Follow Me!"

For what it's worth, I believe we have a few of those sort of leaders on our side, but they have yet to take command, muster the troops, and give the order to charge.

My feeling is that, when the time is right, we'll see that happen. As bad as things appear now, we're not quite there yet.

I believe they have bargained with them for a quick beheading with an axe post-filming ( where no cutting is actually taking place). Or quite possibly they believe it will not really happen, at least not yet.

You know those hostages have to be at the most elevated levels of desperation imaginable.

In their mindset, it's quite possible (even probable) that they're believing with all their might, that if they just do what their captors tell them to, that somehow they'll be spared, and survive the ordeal.

Here in NYC, the Muzzie kebab stands do a very good business with hungry students, business workers, etc. lining up for their stuff. They set their carts up where there are no restaurants around, thus snapping up all the business in the area. I’d rather starve than contribute to their coffers.

You know, it is times like this when you realize an elected leader, and those people that elected them into office still do not understand the depths to their stupidity...

Or, maybe that is what they “hope” for you to conclude???

Maybe we can hold onto the railing till November, maybe not...And then, will that election really give this country the chance to change the course???

I actually have credible and substantive reasons to doubt that at this point...

I just hope that this malaise will not deter your turnout for semi-conservative representatives that desire to be your “servants” in out local, state and Federal offices...

Sometimes I feel like it must be silly to approach these people with these “kinds”, or at least the watered down version of these impending dooms...You try to not come across in a way that makes you sound like Chicken Little, but with solutions in mind to try and keep the sky up for all the danger...

I do not believe there is a single candidate, or incumbent that looks at these things seriously enough, on a personal level, that give it too much in their approach to the job they’ve been elected too, something other than a tone, or a physical reaction if they have a camera or digital recorder put in their face...

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’s reported execution of British aid worker David Haines is likely only the latest in what promises to be an escalating, serialized slaying of innocent people to prove its terrorist credentials and recruit more members, national security experts told Newsmax.

“They are the ones. It is not al-Qaida,” former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Pete Hoekstra said. “They are trying to recruit more people. They believe the techniques that they are employing right now are successful in their recruitment and their funding — and they’re going to keep going exactly in that direction.
