With the nation a racial tinderbox in the wake of 18-year-old Michael Brown’s shooting death by a white police officer, a California firefighter threw out what could have been an incendiary spark by accusing a cop of treating him differently because he’s black. Little did Oakland firefighter Keith Jones know that the officer was wearing a body-cam video recorder when their tense encounter unfolded. And the video didn’t quite match the complaint Jones filed with the Oakland Police Department. The encounter began last month when Jones and his sons, aged 9 and 12, were leaving a Oakland Raiders football game and walked past an open bay door at a nearby fire station, according to the CBS affiliate, KPIX5. Watch the story Jones first told the local news and how they portrayed him and his kids as victims:
Cop was trying to make sure nothing fishy was happening. Was firm and professional. Apologized afterwards.
Was it a case of bad timing? Yep. What firefighter dad could have taught his kids was that bad things happen, and the police officer was just trying to make sure they weren’t the bad guys. Instead, you get a racist whine.
This is why the libs are having second thoughts about body cams, because the vast majority of the time they prove the cop right and the race hustlers wrong.
If that was New York city the commie pinko punk ass Mayor Bill Duh Blasio would have been cutting him a taxpayer check right about now no matter if the cop had a camera or not. Evidence means nothing to that punk.

This is a prime example of how the press promotes faux racism, this is why I hate the media so much. I’m white and when I lived in New York city, cops use to stop me all the time when I walked to work at night, no problem, you just cooperate. I didn’t go running to the press screaming racism although I’ll tell you, when I drove a cab the black cops were the biggest racist mofos on this planet. Once they saw I was a white guy they would ticket me for every little thing and make me wait forever while they did it. Once time I one black cop give me 4 tickets all at once for “blocking traffic” which is what you do when you pick up a passenger - duh - and he had me wait an hour and a half! from 12:30pm to 2pm. I walked over to his car and he was eating lunch threatening to arrest me if I did stand by my cab. Yeah that’s perfectly OK, but a cop asking a black guy for ID is racist.
Meanwhile, the Justus Brothers are pissed about a missed opportunity. Watch them complain the cops’ bodycams are a tool of racist oppression.

The first video isn’t working for me. But I watched the second one. And it shows that the firefighter was treated with suspicion in a very tense situation.
Yes, the officer had to do his job, and he apologized later. But, it doesn’t appear to me that the firefighter lied at all. Where was the lie, exactly?

I’m of the opinion we should just let liberals speak/argue/yell/whine/complain to their heart’s content when it doesn’t do anything but expose them. Viewed the personal video of the cop and this stop to check reported burglary in process appears to be done correctly and with courtesy.
Props to the rookie cop and shame on the black fireman for clearly trying to instill a sense of racism and victimhood in his children.
