Most importantly, Cameron has walked back his promise of an independence vote in Parliament.

I think the vote in Scotland was the opening salvo of many around the world.
This battle pits an older generation with vested interests on the dole against a younger generation whose future is being taken from them. It will be played out in Scotland, throughout Europe - and when the financial crisis hits - in our own country. Pensions are unsustainable, Obamacare is unsustainable, etc.
This is worth reading and thinking about.
I don’t have a side in the Scotland events. I try to be on the side of independence and responsibility everywhere though.

There were angry scenes in Glasgow on Friday night as a group of young pro-union supporters clashed with pro-independence supporters who had been gathering in George Square throughout the day.I wonder if they call the loyalists Torries, like they did in America?

he Daily Mail did a piece today claiming that one in four Americans want their state to break away.I don't want my state to break away...I want other states to do so and my state stay with its Marxist pals like NY,VT,IL,CA,etc.
Then I'd move.

“...marched from the loyalist pub....”
Yep, I suspected adult beverages would be involved.

This is Scotland. Adult beverages are always involved.

This story needs to be benchmarked against other Friday and Saturday nights in Glasgow, where a Glaswegian kiss is a head butt. Tough city, tough toughs.

It is a tough city divided already along religious lines. Add this.
