Shocking Anti-Islam Ad Campaign Coming To New York City Buses And Subways
Zero Hedge ^ | 20 September 2014 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 09/20/2014 7:27:13 PM PDT by Lorianne

In a move that is certain to further escalate already stretched racial tensions in America's most cosmopolitan city, some 100 New York City buses will soon carry jarring anti-Islamic posters which feature photos of an ISIS beheading victim, his alleged executioner, Adolf Hitler, declare "Yesterday's moderate [Muslim] is today's headline" and proclaim "It's not Islamophobia, it's Islamorealism" as part of an "educational campaign." According to the NY Daily News, the ads, paid for by flame-throwing blogger Pamela Geller, at a cost of $100,000, are intended as an “education campaign” to warn of the “problem with jihad” and Islamic sharia law, Geller said.

Below are some of the ads which will soon grace 100 buses and at the entrances of the E. 59th St. station and the Columbus Circle station.

“There is a huge difference between those who take the Koran literally & want to exterminate all infidels, and those who take it symbolically & can peacefully coexist with other religions.”

No there isn’t any difference. Other than the “good” Muslims are in a large minority and don’t have the power to exterminate all infidels. Let’em get to 20% or so of population in an area and their true colors will show.

Again, THE ONLY REASON that a so called “moderate” Muslim wants to “co-exist” is because they do not have the power to enforce their commandment of kill or convert.

I agree that saying ISIS isn’t Islamic is preposterous, of course they are!

However, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Carter, etc have all said the same thing. So I don’t think it’s fair to single Obama out on this one.

We don’t need another one.
We don’t need any more of our blood on the ground over there.

If ISIS is a threat, let the people of the region take them out, or at least people closer than 5000 miles away

If they threaten us on our own soil, then yes, we will obliterate them.

ISIS isn't playing.

Beheadings, rapes, and tortures of women and children are real... ISIS's desire to kill us is real. Their plans to destroy our country is real...

ISIS plans (yes, ALL of them) have all been approved by Imans - - high priests of the Islamic 'religion'...

"Posters" are the least we can do ... citizens need to be warned.

Except they are a main threat to OTHER MUSLIMS.
Why get in their way?

Pamela Geller is not trying to gin up a war in the Middle East.

You can't avoid war by appeasing these people. There is no compromising with somebody who wants you dead.

I’m not sure. It is a free speech issue. These days fear of upsetting someone seems to trump everything, even the display of our flag.

I’m shocked she’s being allowed to do it.

I’m fully supportive of the free speech aspect of this.

My only question is: Why is this being allowed NOW?

Yes it should be allowed by 1A right and should have from 13 or more years ago. But it is suspicious to me that it was thwarted for so long ... and now it has gotten the green light.

What has your statement got to do with mine?

I was responding to someone who wrongly claimed that I was claiming that Gellar was trying to gin up a war in the Middle East. I never made such a claim.

I didn't feel that you were arguing against it. Your question is reasoned.

Perhaps there is beginning to be a crack in the "Islam is a Religion of Peace" Mantra that has been the standard for the last 13 years.

Maybe we'll see a complete repudiation in upcoming months.

Obama is clearly in the tank for Islam and the terrorist groups. Perhaps this is evidence that some folks are getting more than a little sick of his "dog n pony camel" show.

I honestly don't know what else to make of it. Perhaps it will become clearer.

This may be allowed now, so that a group can file a suit, and stop things like this from taking place anywhere.

I just don't know until it plays out.

My comment is to the original poster who keeps insisting that this is a made up war and all sorts of conspiracy nonsense because Gellar and her group are putting up MORE ads.

I agree with you but Geller is not trying to make up a reason to go to war.....She is telling the truth about islam

No one has said Geller is trying to make up a reason to go to war.

In my opinion, the Obama admin, most of our elective officials in both parties and everyone with ties to the MIC.

Who does NOT want us to get in yet another ME conflict? Most of the American citizens ... they made that clear in the earlier sabre rattling over Libya and then Syria.

So there is a massive media campaign on to change the opinions of American citizens so that they want us to get in yet another ME conflict.

To that end, Gellar’s ad campaign, which was so vigorously fought against for so many years is suddenly given the green light. (This is not the only example). I don’t think Geller herself is working with these people, I think her campaign just suddenly became convenient for them ... and even better for them they can distance themselves from her and call her names ... but still use her suddenly green lighted ad campaign for their own ends.

That clarifies your thoughts and original post, for me.

Not sure if they’d go as fas as to “use” Pamela’s ad campaign to their sinister advantage, but you cannot put anything past them, anymore.
