I don't know what the definition of ISIS, but I know it's Islamic and is therefore evil.

Can you imagine the tsunami if Mr. Bush was POTUS?

1. Innocent children caught in crossfire.
2. Colateral damage
3. Hospitals and mosques targeted
4. The man in the green helmet carrying children in his arms.
5. pictures of women in burkas wailing

Instead we get crickets.

It’s still our military and always will be regardless of Obama.

Do you hear the yawning? No one takes this seriously. What a joke. If we aren’t willing to take the oil and kill the muslims — no one gives a crap. We have no allies except little bitty Shiite countries like Bahrain . The Saudis will start a civil war if they attack the sunnis. No France? No England? Nobody!! The main thing to understand is no one cares. We had two journalist who should not have been there and we are printing money for this fiasco? No boots on the ground. Obama hey hey, HOW MANY KIDS DID YOU KILL TODAY?

ISIS was no threat to the U.S.

Our Saudi overlords were getting scared.

This is crazy.

I remember all of the cheering here in ‘03. That did not turn out so great either. We keep making the same mistakes. Over and over.

Syria implicitly asked the U.S. not to conduct air campaigns over it’s territory.

I think Assad and his daddy were evil, sadistic men. With that said, playing world cop and crossing international borders sets a bad precedent.

We ought to have our men and woman along our borders and guard against these evil people coming here.

When ISIS is riding into battle on camels and donkeys flat broke because we destroyed every armored vehicle they possess and blew up all of the oil fields they control, then it wont be token.

The Twitter user,... named Abdulkader Hariri,... posted that “massive” explosions had rocked ISIS headquarters,.... and that the skies were full of war planes and drones. Here are his tweets, which are chilling to read:

Breaking:

Huge explosions shook the city in what might be the beginning of US airstrikes on ISIS HQs in Raqqa

The airstrikes 5/6 concentrated near the ‘governorate building’ ISIS’s main HQ. Meanwhile, sounds of warplanes can be heard clearly

The sky is full drones over Raqqa now

Reports of similar airstrikes on Tabga town and brigade 93 in Ein Essa.

Here’s a “VIDEO” of apparently some of the bombing..

Praying for our military.

Not cheering.

This is a big mistake. I am sure our forces will perform at their usual high level. But they are being directed into a mess.

Did congress authorize this?
The U.S. Constitution does not afford the president the option of going to war at the mere request of foreign governments.

ISIS was no threat to the U.S.

Most said the same about al-Qaeda prior to 9/11/01.

No, ISIS can't "invade" the U.S. and "defeat" us.

But they can kill us by the thousands -- and have both the intent and means by which to accomplish that objective.

Yeah, that worked out well. For Kerry, at least. I wonder if he will Christmas in Appelo.

Oh, and Fox keeps hammering away at “this is a LEGENDARY coalition!”

They must have received the same talkingpoints memo CNN got. CNN expert said basically the same thing -- greatest coalition.

Congress did vote for funding. But, not for a full out war.

Much more approval for this than Operation Unified Protector. (Libya)

His justification for that was the UN.

If our warfighters are allowed to meet their mission requirements and prep the battlespace for forces on the ground by destroying ISIS’ C2 capabilities, that will be a met objective.

ISIS is not AQ. ISIS wants to be a state. They would not attack us directly because they know they would lose head to head. Don’t buy the crap being sold on the news channels. There is no reason for ISIS to attack us. No upside at all to their end goals.

They might have the ability to kill us by the hundreds. Syria can attack our ships, they can shoot at our planes, and they have the support of Russia. What do you want to bet that ss300’s show up in Syria. What do you bet the Russians send destroyers to the Syrian ports.

We do not have the will to finish this.

This is nothing but red meat, and clearly the media is chewing down.

“But they can kill us by the thousands — and have both the intent and means by which to accomplish that objective. “

We shouldn’t be waiting around for ISIS to conduct Beslan-style attacks on our kids’ schools. Remember, ISIS said it wants to infiltrate through our undefended southern border.
