Why do I have the feeling the guy KNEW he had been exposed to Ebola, and wanted to get to the states for care??

Why are we importing diseases? It is a serious question.
Close, physical contact. There are possible vectors on surfaces but those are more tenuous. What this incident shows is that our screening is currently useless. Once enough people die here (hopefully not a lot) even the most stupid voters will rise up and the situation will change (no more flights, real screening, etc) Unfortunately, that is what it is going to have to take, we have too many stupid and enough evil people in this country.
I have a feeling this guy will die within a week. But we will not know about the death because of a CDC blackout on his condition. I don’t trust the CDC!

We are letting diseased people import themselves. People will do that unless they are stopped. Our government shows no interest in stopping them ATM, but that will change.

Sounds to me like the guy knew he had been exposed so he made a run for the USA.
As a side issue. Why are all these Liberians here? Wasn’t Liberia supposed to be a land of milk and honey for blacks seeking to escape the USA and return to Africa?
Did any authorities along his travel route ask him if he was exposed? I fear that the authorities in the UK and the US are far too sensitive to the feelings of possible carriers even to ask such a question.
Notice how we're being OVERWHELMED with outrageous events? Think this is just coincidental? HELL NO IT'S NOT.
Reporting now it’s seems clear this infected person was on at least 3 aircraft and with up to 900 people on board these 3 flights...
Confirming Washington Dulles was at least one of the airport/aircraft transfers...
