He came here on purpose and has exposed the whole US to ebola

Probably a handful of people in this case. Being just the first we don't know how well we are prepared but with a bit of luck it will be contained. With less luck it will kill a few people and then be contained.

The problem is not this guy in particular but the next 100 or 1000. The other problem is terrorists, we have no evidence yet that this guy was a terrorist but undoubtedly there are some that would like to kill us by carrying the disease in their checked bags (and not infecting themselves prematurely which would be dumb).

He never told the hospital he had been exposed to ebola and he let them treat him for the flu!

A month ago there were warnings about taking flights from ebola affected countries. Another obama fai.

Sure I’d want to come here. A few weeks ago, a doctor was flown back here, in a space suit and special airplane, etc. And he went directly into an isolation ward.

This guy presumably hopped on a commercial jetliner...and endangered all sorts of people around him.

Just human nature (stupidity). There are lots of stupid people including our current president (although he may also be evil). There are plenty of evil people who would like to bring this disease here deliberately.

I think it is part of Obama’s plan. Many of us thought he would come up with a way to declare martial law. What better way than health quarantines?

Why would five students have contact with an African immigrant one week within his arrival?

Is there any clearer example of why travel restrictions from those countries should be imposed?

What are you going to say when some of the 3000 US troops that Obama is sending to Africa to “fight ebola” return home sick?

It appears that Mr. Duncan was engaged in a humanitarian activity, and that is how he was exposed.

But, our troops are being sent to Africa to engage in humanitarian activities and are likely to be exposed. How will that be different? If one man can expose 900 passengers, think of the ramifications of 3000 troops returning home.

Only whites are subjected to quarantine, apparently. This really pisses me off. Regard for others vs. disregard for others. Unfortunately, 0bola represents the LATTER.

I admire calm, I am calm. But I am not stupid. This disease can and will spread rapidly.

I hope your optimism is warranted.

A co-worker just flew United through Dallas and on to Houston yesterday.

Unless United bleached the interior of their aircraft, the jetway, their gate lounges, and the entire DFW airport...well, my co-worker is taking a risk.

This guy should be prosecuted.

“This — above all else — will put a stop to the dangerous practice of both parties to not defend our borders.”

I hope you’re right but I wouldn’t bet on it.

The elite of both parties won’t change even when their treason lobby love of open borders threatens the survival of the American people.

"Why would five students have contact with an African immigrant one week within his arrival?"

And if family, why would five children from one family attend FOUR DIFFERENT schools? It's almost as if someone has a plan to ensure this is spread rapidly...

When do the Muslims start smuggling in all the infectious waste and clothing turning up in Africa?

How do we know they are not already doing this? I'm so cynical of the Obungler regime, that I wouldn't be surprised if the government is facilitating them.

This disease can and will spread rapidly.

From the evidence it has not and will not unless people touch infected body fluids. It might be spreading on taxi seats in Liberia as we speak but there is no direct evidence of that yet. I think it is spreading in Africa mainly from ignorance. In Nigeria they tracked 100's of potential infections and killed it off. Basically showed what being smart can accomplish.

my co-worker is taking a risk.

A small risk. The guy is just stupid, leave him to live or more likely die. The next 100 entries are a bigger problem. A noninfected terrorist with checked luggage is an extremely serious threat.

Since the advent of Leper colonies, mankind has know how to deal with terrible diseases like this.

Quarantine.

In a sane world, those 3,000 troops in Africa would be flown to a remote airbase somewhere, and kept alone for 40 days, before allowing them to come back the CONUS.

Sadly, if one gets Ebola...the public will not be told.

I really am not buying that. Sweat is a body fluid. Hands get sweaty. people touch carts, their steering wheel. Rub eyes and pick noses.

This crap about how hard it is to catch is merely to placate us.
