AUSTRALIA has completed its first operation mission over Iraq deploying Super Hornets, a Wedgetail early warning and control aircraft, a refueller and special force members officially joining the international forces against the Islamic State.
Defence has confirmed the aircraft returned to their base in the United Arab Emirate without incident, and follows confirmation from the Prime Minister yesterday that RAAF forces had begun to enter Iraqi airspace.

Aussies have become idiots.
So far - the plan is that the Hornets will be carrying out strikes in the near future as well, though.
I know it is off subject but I sure wish John Howard was our President.
I wish he was still our Prime Minister - he’s been out of office seven years now :)
Fortunately since last year we’ve had Tony Abbott (who was one of Howard’s Ministers) and he’s almost as good - a little more prone to speak too fast and create unnecessary headlines - but a genuine conservative again.
