Lindsey Graham weighing 2016 White House bid(backstbber alert)
The State ^ | 10/0414 | Andrew Shanin

A number of GOP 2016 White House hopefuls have visited South Carolina in recent months, but the Palmetto State might have a homegrown candidate.U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-Seneca, told The Weekly Standard that he is weighing a presidential bid if he wins a third Senate term next month. The magazine wrote:In our interview, Graham repeatedly spoke of the challenges that will face the next president because of the mistakes made under Obama. And he suggested that he might just be the one to fix them.“If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking—me and (U.S. Sen. John) McCain have been talking—I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. The story notes how Graham has become a vocal critic of the Obama administration's national security issues, like Florida Sen. Marco Rubio -- one of those 2016 prospects who have visited South Carolina. Graham said he could do better.“He’s a good guy, but after doing immigration with him—we don’t need another young guy not quite ready,” Graham told The Weekly Standard. “He’s no Obama by any means, but he’s so afraid of the right, and I’ve let that go.”Andrew Jackson is considered the only president born in South Carolina, though some dispute he might have lived just over the border in North Carolina.Graham has a comfortable lead a month before the election. He leads Democrat Brad Hutto by 18 percentage points, according to a Winthrop University poll released this week.

Don't laugh. He'll doubtless have the full weight of McCain's prodigious presidential machine behind him.

Hell, Andy Cuomo might jump aboard the Republican ticket, and there are many on FR who will call me a traitor for vowing not to vote for him.

Good. Let Grahamnesty, Jebbie Bush, Krispy Kreme Cristie, and Romney split the Big Government Republican vote and let conservatives coalesce behind Ted Cruz.

Jeb, POTUS and Linseed, VP? Rots of ruck, America.

This would not surprise me in the least & it would be the best for the elites because like, GW the (R)s would no doubt go along with his amnesty & other leftist agendas. The (R)s reluctantly go along & the (D)s praise this forward progressive approach but The Hildabeast would be blocked by CONgress. Her & Jeb are one in the same.

Clinton is “straight” only in the sense that the person(s) he commits sodomy with are female.

Other than coming out of the closet, how does he expect to run to the left of the rest of the GOPe candidates? He’s the gay version of Jon Huntsman.
