Another thing I just picked up on reading that text.
“Jihad” is not an insulting term to devout Muslims. It’d be like knocking Eric Rudolph as a “crusader”. The term this “worldly intellectual” is looking for in describing Osama is “irhab” as it better translates to a terrorist fighter.
She could have found any number of religions that are positive with a Gd who loves humans. Some religions have several deities that love humans. Why did she choose the one where the prophet was a violent child molester? How do you get past that?
And if our terror experts in DC are stupid enough to tweet out that pro ISIS graffiti without comment, we are in deep doodoo.
I looked at her somewhat garbled LinkedIn page. She has a description of her undergraduate thesis work under the job heading of “barista at Starbucks.” For someone working at a think tank in Washington, she doesn’t come across as terribly bright based on her Internet presence. There are some real dim bulbs/useful idiots in positions of Middle East research, analysis and punditry in the USA, and that is depressing.
Very true.... Most liberals have sh@t for brains and think themselves geniuses....
