Alleged rape victim had consensual sex with Sanford Rubenstein twice, source says, as police search home for object used in reported assault
The woman allegedly raped by Sanford Rubenstein awoke the next morning and had sex with him again, a source close to the powerhouse attorney told the Daily News.
That version of events, in which the pair had consensual sex, conflicted with one presented by a police source, who said the 42-year-old victim awoke from a booze-filled haze to find she was having sex with the 70-year-old lawyer.
“It’s a classic he said, she said. She’s claiming she was attacked. He said it was consensual,” a police source said of the incident following the Rev. Al Sharpton’s 60th birthday bash Wednesday.
Investigators suspect Rubenstein may have used an object to penetrate the woman, a business executive and high-ranking official at Sharpton’s National Action Network, a law enforcement source told The News.

How about this allegation, since this ‘sleepy’ woman was a high up member of Sharpton’s inner circle, she was sent up there to set up this rich white lawyer for a huge pay out after she files suit against him.

I already told you, I’m wary about rape accusations. I was very disturbed about the false rape accusation against the Duke Lacrosse players. I have two young adult sons, neither of whom are married, so it’s a real concern for me. What if one of my sons’ girlfriends gets mad, and levels a heinous charge at one, simply because they are angry? One of my sons’ friends was actually accused of rape by a girl that he knew, when all the friend had done was given her a ride. Her jealous boyfriend beat him to a pulp, and it was all a lie. The girl even confessed to the police that it was a lie. Now there are assault charges against her boyfriend. So believe me, I understand false allegations, and it’s very easy to make up a story.
Having said that, I was responding to your statement, “The boozy broad admits SHE was having sex, doesn’t sound like she has much of a case, to me.” I am of the belief that a sleeping woman cannot consent to sex. IF he was doing her while she was asleep, then I would consider that non-consentual, even if she had consented to the earlier encounter. You may think otherwise. I am merely giving my opinion on that particular situation.
I hear you and understand that Sharpton is someone to be avoided. If you lie down with dogs, you may end up with fleas.
