Early voting should be illegal.

Have to disagree with you, crip.

I used to stand in lines for an hour or two to vote. With early voting, I can drive down to the place during the day and just walk right in, show my photo ID and vote.

I’m 72 now and less patient than when I was a youngster, so would be less likely to stand outside in foul weather on voting day.

I believe that ABSENTEE voting for people other than active military personnel should be banned. That’s where a lot of voting fraud has occurred in the past; i.e., where the military absentee votes were not even counted or were lost.

Really? An honest question. They really check their IDs.

I voted in Texas in 2012 and photo ID was required. Walked in and had my Dr. Lic. and registration card in hand. They only asked for my DL and didn’t look at the reg. card.

They plugged info from the DL to a data base which crossed over to the voter registrations. That confirmed I lived in the proper Country and had a valid reg. card.

Third party submission of registrations must go.

Yep! Ballots too!!! FNC Tuesday showed video of people in Colorado going door-to-door and collecting absentee ballots that they were “supposedly” going to turn in for the homeowners.

I know others have answered affirmatively but let me expound a little further.

Early voting in Georgia (at least here in GreenAcres...NW of Atlanta...) is just like going to the polls on election day. There is the complete setup of the voter registration "books" along with live poll workers checking your ID. You also have to sign an affidavit (FWIW) declaring, under criminal penalty, that you are who you say you are.

So, the take-away here is that early voting is identical to election day voting as far as the ID process.

I take care of my in-laws, 83 & 87. Life long democrats. It would be so easy to request an absentee ballot sent to their home, fill it out for the candidate of my choice, and send it back.

I am in a very conservative county in Georgia. If my county went dem in the election, we would know there was fraud. Other counties could go either way. Sometimes with a very small margin of difference.
One way to fight voter fraud is to make sure the elderly and infirm who do not vote have not had a ballot cast in their names.

nursing homes are notorious for having staffers (or party officials) fill out the forms for those in residence.

Absentee is a guarantee of fraud.

Another source of similar fraud are homeless shelters.

Thanks! It’s obvious what they’re up to. Here’s the link to that story from National Review/Andrew Johnson:
