WHO stresses cases are being underreported in Liberia

Over 8,000 people in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone have been infected with Ebola, according to new data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The numbers show there were 2,799 new cases in the last 21 days. Of the 8,011 people infected, 3,857 people have died. “The situation in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone continues to deteriorate, with widespread and persistent transmission of [Ebola],” says the WHO in a statement.

The Central African "reservoir" of Ebola seems likely to be Kitum Cave in Kenya which is filled with bats

The Kitum cave is to be found in Kenya, which is in East Africa, and it is not a reservoir of Ebola. Scientists strongly suspect that it is a reservoir of the Marburg virus, a related filovirus to Ebola.

True, Dr. Klenner used very high doses of intravenous, but high oral doses can also be taken. When I helped a woman who was swollen and choking from stings in the neck (she had forgotten her allergy kit for a trip to the woods), I used Vitamin C tablets, giving her 10,000 mg. plus 500mg of pantothenic acid the first hour and then 5,000 each hour for the next 7 hours. I left her with more to take if needed when she finally felt well enough to sleep.
Klenner and others have also used oral and IV at the same time to increase the dosage.
Always good to have several bottles handy. Good for snake and spider bites like black widow or brown recluse.
A bottle of powdered C, ascorbic acid or calcium ascorbate comes in handy. It can be absorbed more easily on a queasy stomach, or given as a retention enema with acute vomiting. If you brought this up on a FR post can you give me the link?

I alerted my son who is in Special Forces about the logic and possibility of using Vitamin C. He says he is going to keep his with his ammunition, and today he sent me this excellent article by Dr. Robert Cathcart with much information on measuring and evaluating very high dosage treatment. Please send to your medically oriented friends.

And will give you kidney stones and other issues. You have now spammed every ebola thread with your personal cure for ebola. What you suggest is potentially harmful, and unlikely to help.

It is logical that if the first thing Ebola does is wipe out all body stores of Vitamin C, then one should replace the Vitamin C. Also, most animals which produce their own Vitamin C on a comparative weight basis produce about 2 to 4 grams a day under normal conditions, and not under stress. I have taken 3 to 6 grams of C for over 40 years for allergy symptoms, and no sign of kidney stones or other issues. I used to get colds all the time, now that is very rare.
