Walker could be strolling to massive win in Wisconsin

VAN DYNE, Wis. — Republican Gov. Scott Walker is under investigation, and he is reviled by the largest political force in his state. But you’d never guess that by watching him amble through the stalls at a central Wisconsin dairy farm.

Walker converses with a casual ease rare among politicians. He strolls with a light step through a massive cow barn at Ruedinger Farms on Wednesday. The only thing hanging over his head is the mechanical hawk that chases away the pigeons.

You wouldn’t guess from his demeanor how hated he is. County prosecutors are still investigating him. And the government employee unions — which failed to block his legislation, failed to recall him, and failed to take back the state legislature — still have it in for him.

“Walker speaks with a forked tongue,” Fernando Stokes tells me. Stokes was a state prison guard for 32 years and is now retired. Waiting for his takeout order at Milwaukee’s Water Street Brewery, Stokes couldn’t even name Walker’s opponent. That she was running against Walker was enough for him.

Ron, a bartender at Buck Bradley’s in Milwaukee for more than 20 years, is backing Walker again. He understands the unions’ anger: “If someone yanked away your gravy train, would you be happy?” Ron asks with a laugh.

One state employee, a female parole officer, denied that the free health care and generous pension was a gravy train — state workers had taken lower pay in the past in exchange for those benefits. The benefits drew her into the state workforce when she was in her 40s. “I saw the health care was free, and I thought that was a pretty sweet deal,” the woman tells me at the Capital Tap Haus in Madison.

Better bring in more votes from IL, especially since our Leftist Supreme Court killed WI’s IS voting requirement yesterday. The buses can roll in with Rent-A-Democrat voters as usual.

So in other words.... He isn’t hated at all. He is actually plainly loved by the people of his state.

Only a journalist could list off all these failures of the hateful groups and then make the claim he is hated. But they fail.... so he isn’t actually hated.

We say it about a 1,000 times a day here, but America is doomed, doomed, doomed.

Public unions goons are bitter people.

Strange when you consider even with their reduce benefits - public unions goons are still better off than 99% of the taxpayers who pay for them...

I know. The mentality of these people is laughable. Meanwhile, Obama is loved, of course!

I'm speechless.

LOL - yeah, the 'gravy train' the rest of us were paying for...

“Surprise! Solid conservatives can WIN.”

Which is why they want him (and Brownback) destroyed. So they can keep the meme going that “only moderates can win” because A. they’re easy to beat, and B. because they help the democrats.

If he wins big, I’ll look at him very seriously if he then runs for president. More than anything — anything — we will need a presidential candidate who can take on the government union goons and other special interests who keep pushing spending and entitlement obligations into the stratosphere.

The fact that anyone took this seriously adds further evidence that the left is a true cult. The members of which happen to be in considerable quantities in many places in positions of power. They take actions that reasonable, well-adjusted, non-brainwashed people would never take.

Growing up, learning history, heck even in college, I was always astounded how different countires or societies in the world or history could have actually taken certain turns or picked certain policies or thought certain things were a good idea, when they so obviously would lead to disaster, which is what actually happened.

The concepts and decisions seemed so poor to me, and so easily identified as poor using basic common sense, I just could not understand it (Commies, Nazis’, Athens’ various downturns, Europe, various Kingdoms, Muslims, certain periods in Roman history, English medieval history, etc and on and on)!!!!

The thoughts and philosophies that led to all this historical tragedy and farce were so at odds with both my instinctual and learned, liberty-based sensibilities, I just could not comprehend it.

Well, The last 15 years (I’m just about 33) have really been valuable in my sense of being an amateur anthropologist. I have literally seen, first hand, en mass, how such things happen. It has been year by year, day by day, happening right in front my eyes. I can’t quite put it into flowing prose off the top of my head, but I do get it. I innately get it because we are in the middle of it happening and we are first person, participants and witnesses. It is so sad. So incredibly sad. The fact is, most people are easily brainwashed, self-loathing, insecure, weak-minded, weak-spirited, manipulated morons. That is of course a high-level summary, but it gets the gist across.

It makes me ashamed of humanity. It makes me upset there are so many monsters out there, and it makes me disgusted that there is no way to stop them without taking radical and mostly ineffective actions which can only entail sacrificing your life or your livelihood.

What a shame that the psychopaths get to rule and administer the world and your life, simply because they have nothing to lose or don’t have the normal cares of losing what they do have, or simply don’t mind being evil and or a mad scientist.

Pathetic. I wish I was born in 1870. Or better yet, 1800.

“It makes me ashamed of humanity”

Original sin. It is something to be ashamed of, but there is a remedy.

Listen, I love me some God and Jesus. Don’t get me wrong.

I just wish more people did. It does seem to really address a lot of the symptoms I laid out. A religious revival would be nice.

Walker has taken the state out of massive Dem-caused debt and put us in the black. The Dems and leftists can’t stand it. They support the playgirl nitwit Mary Burke over Walker out of spite. To be sure, they would never vote for any Republican, but they’d probably sit home. But Walker makes their blood curdle. They’d vote for Joe Stalin over Walker.

The headline citing a “massive win” is misleading. Walker won’t win by more than a few percentage points, provided he even wins at all.

It will only be a “massive” win because he will have beaten back public unions twice, once in the recall and then in a regular election. Put another way, if he loses, even by a fraction of a percent, the unions will certainly consider it a massive win for themselves.

All bets are off. The Supremes have sanctioned the rampant vote fraud that we hoped would have been mitigated by Voter ID. There are two nightmare scenarios here....one is that Walker is defeated outright.

The second is that he is reelected but dem hack Susan Happ is elected to Attorney General by a combination of voter fraud and brainless bimbos voting for her because she's a womyn.

I moved to the People’s Republic of Charlottesville (VA) about 2 years ago. A British girl (student) was kidnapped here and is presumed dead. They have the guy who did it in custody, but instead of sweating out of him where he hid the body, they wear orange ribbons at football games in “support”. They are scouring a ridiculously huge area of land looking for her body, when all they would have to do is give me 15 minutes with this guy. Books can (and probably will) be written about how this situation encompasses nearly every bad characteristic of human nature. I could document one...cowardess, and how pathetic these people are. I want to move!

And the national GOP is scared crapless about running as conservatives. Here is Walker taking on all the big crony organizations in Wisconsin of all places, and kicking their butts. He is running on pro growth, low taxes, and smaller government and the people love him.

What do we get? “I think Obama’s a pretty good president” Boehner.
