Federal judge orders Texas to drop voter ID law immediately

A federal judge is ordering Texas to immediately drop its voter ID law after she found it unconstitutional.

In a court filing Saturday, U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzalez Ramos of Corpus Christi issued a permanent and final injunction against the law, one of the toughest of its kind in the country.

A day earlier, the state had asked for clarification about whether law would be in place for the upcoming elections in November.

Gonzalez Ramos last week ruled the law was illegal, equating it to a “poll tax” that unfairly targets minority voters.

Millions of older white guys need to show up at the polls with no ID. That’ll scare them.

Texas, Wisconsin, you have the constitution on your side.

Run your election the way you want and have sec. of state deliver the results. There is no federal power to cancel the election results from a state that has been certified by the SOS.

So... Requiring an ID to buy a gun is unconstitutional and imposes an unfair burden on minorities.

The CT gun law is!!

Only Middletown, CT can issue you a certificate to be able to buy a long gun or pistol. It costs $116 in 4 separate checks to get the certificate.

What about the poor people (of Gov. Malloy's wrong color) that don't have $116, that don't have transportation to Middletown because they can't afford a car.

The CT unconstitutional law is 100%, all about race and class warfare. Don't want the wrong "little people" upset the rich daughters cotillion.

Since when can the federal govt say to a state, "we won't accept your election results. Your state is too red. Your state election results means the person we want to win, won't"

They’re trying to set a trap for AG Greg Abbott, who’s about to become Governor, so this has to be handled the right way.

What that right way is..

That is what I have been thinking for a long time.

Be sure and show up to vote in minority precincts. Suddenly, voter ID will become a nonpartisan issue.

When TN put together our photo ID to vote law, I believe it was Indiana’s law they followed. They did that because their law had already been found to be constitutional by the SCOTUS. To my knowledge, Holder & Crew never bothered to threaten TN over the new voter law.
All the other states had to do was craft their laws the same way and this garbage wouldn’t be going on.

That’s what they want... for us to go on attack. Or active defense, in our case.

There’s a good reason everybody’s being quiet about this. Or, rather, an explicable one. The left is trying to force clashes at the ballot box, for ten thousand headlines about Racism in Texas.

But like you said, the RAT precincts are gonna vote RAT, and the conservative ones conservative. We all know who shows up at our polling places.

Starting TUESDAY early voting, watch for influxes of folks who normally don’t vote there, watch the posted daily vote totals, compare them to the primaries and 2012, and be ready to get the Precinct leadership involved.

This CWII-bringing judge is serious about making a huge mess: this suit was filed 18 months ago, and she ruled on it just in time to start fires all over the state.

The fact we AREN’T seeing TX conservative leadership addressing this AND Travis Co. taking down Perry tells us this is not just a whimsical ruling, but a PLAN by the left to rain hell on us.

The Republican party is stopped by a consent decree from 1981. They cannot pursue the voter fraud, which is why the Dems do so with impunity.
