Obama’s spectacular incompetence turns deadly
Washington Times ^ | 16 Oct 2014 | Jospeh Curl

It was only a matter of time.

President Obama, a short-term college professor and failed community organizer who became a mostly absentee state senator and then an all-but-invisible U.S. senator, has Petered out. Per the Peter Principle, he has risen to his level of incompetence — some would argue far beyond it.

The president — and the president alone — let Ebola into America. He could have made one phone call (even on Saturday, when playing his 200th round of golf as president) and said one sentence to protect all Americans from the usually fatal disease: “No one from West Africa gets into the country.”

Done. That single sentence would have kept Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian who had carried an Ebola sufferer back into her home after she was turned away at a hospital, out of Dallas. While he lied on an airport questionnaire about whether he had had contact with anyone suffering the disease, and while hospital workers blundered badly even though they knew he has been in Liberia, the bottom line is Duncan would not have been in America had the president banned visitors from Ebola-stricken countries. Simple.

Many African countries have instituted such bans, and most Americans think such a ban would be a good idea, according to a recent survey. But Team Obama and his band of incompetent minions argue that shutting off flights from affected countries would “harm” the economy. Absurd.

Oh my the paper that has kissed Obama’s ass for the last six or seven years? I'm shocked.

The Wash Times is the nominally Republican paper. It’s the Post that is communist.

Ah, the word “failure” again...

Failure means to not achieve intended goals.

There’s an assumption in calling him a failure,
an assumption that evidence does not support.

Amazing how that myth of Obungler being a Professor has lived this long. Not even the Writer whom obviously has no love for Obungler can’t get it right.

Put Katrina in one hand and Ebola in the other,
see which one melts your liver first.

Ebola...not Bush’s fault.

Is there some bizarre liberal thinking that a cure for Ebola won’t be found until nations outside of Africa have the disease? Only a crazy premise such as that could possibly justify people from the affected African nations coming into the US.

In our rush to have a "first black president", we blundered badly. If we absolutely had to have a black president, there were so many other better alternatives than this pathetic lightweight who other than getting elected to political office has zero accomplishments of substance to his name.

If you compare Obama's resume to that of any of the other preceding 45 presidents in our history, you just want to cry. It is that pathetic. If Obama was to walk into my office today and apply to be an entry-level employee at my company, I would not even bother to interview him on account that his resume is so weak. Not to mention the fact that he has ZERO experience in the workforce. Has this man ever in his life held down a regular job where he had to show up each day and produce anything? I don't see that he has. Not even delivering newspapers or sacking groceries.

But we just had to have our "historic" first black president, didn't we? Had to do it at all costs. We just had to force that square peg into that round hole because it was the "politically correct" thing to do. It's a tragedy for black people because we could have done so much better and this president is so awful, so incompetent, that many of us may never consider voting for a black president again. It's not fair to the black people who have many good people among them that would be a great president. This one however is absolutely horrible and we will be lucky to survive as a nation once this "social experiment" draws to a merciful close and we put some responsible adults back in charge.

Obama would eff up a lemonade stand.

Well, he had a job once (the only real job he's ever had) working at an icecream shop. His claim to fame at that gig was giving away the owner's stock to his Choom buddies.

Now don’t be a purist. Get your butt to the polls and elect more of the people that stood silently and offered assistance and open borders for the plague so as to not offend it.

Don’t you want to share in the responsibility the Cheshires now own? Because THEY ensured this with their ‘no matter what’ idiocy. Sure, I’m upset about not having the dead kids on my conscience, but I’m evil so no biggie.

Absolutely. I think that deal was struck back in June. I think it was "American Arrogance" (Obama's words) and white privilege that needed fixing in order to solve the African Ebola problem.

Remember the Snake Pliskin motivation?

Nothing “bizarre” about that assumption in the liberal’s assumptive worldview.
They “framed” AIDS in the same way. They were afraid that if it were “just a gay disease” that no effort would be made to cure it. So, they perpetuated a lie that everyone was equally at risk, and tried to force that into reality in the blood supply.

Obama doesn’t do the Peter Principle justice. According to the Peter Principle, Obama would have had to work his way up through levels of competence to get promoted to a level of incompetence. Obama hasn’t worked for anything, nor has he become competent in anything, other than being a fraud. ...He has reached his level of incompetence as a fraud.

I don’t think it’s incompetence. It’s all political calculation. The last thing Obama and the CDC wanted was to admit there is problem right before an election.

If Obama and the CDC were forthcoming with information and took appropriate actions (such as banning travel), then there is a perception of a problem. In their mind, the last thing they want is people panicked about this right before an election.
