So how do we stop Ebola from spreading? It seems to me to be as dangerous as any terrorist threat that we face. For example, the 1918 flu virus killed more people worldwide than World War I. It was only killing 5% of those infected. Ebola is killing about 70%.

We could conceivably be talking about millions of dead Americans if we don’t stop this thing in its tracks. Every day that it is allowed to spread makes it that much harder to bring under control.

What in God's name is the National Guard going to do over there? Unless of course you're sending Army Docs and Nurses. If that's the case wouldn't these medical people be better used helping out our VA right here? That little crisis has been pushed off the headlines by ebola.
