Like you say, if Cruz runs, he can easily win if Republican voters throw their support behind him from the start. But I wonder if, to some, a Democrat is preferable to a true conservative.

I don't think it's that so much...I'd say most Republicans are just as willfully stupid about Republican politics as Democrats are about theirs...They don't know who stands for what...And don't care to know...

GOP says vote for the Rino and that's what they do...

21% of those polled are obviously morons.

I cannot argue with the willfully stupid part.

Would he dismantle the EPA and their job killing regulations? Would he take the jack boot of the federal government off the necks of those who own businesses? Will he stop the crony capitalism that runs DC?

No. He won’t.

It doesn’t matter.

China is now growing to be stronger, and richer than America. They’re not there yet, but that is where things are headed.

We need to bring back our own businesses.

Right here. Back to America. Americans need jobs.

America needs to grow America again. We have sent our own jobs to other countries now for over one entire generation.

Bring jobs back to America.

If you still sport the 80s hair at 50, then our solution is obvious. YOU must run for president. Because clearly you are the smartest woman in any room you walk into...and certainly have the best fashion sense ;)

That seems to happen a lot with people. that 700 post thread had a dozen of that type that flatly refused to defend their RINO positions.

Of course there is no defense. One cannot believe two diametrically opposed things unless you live in Orwell’s 1984 or Carrol’s Wonderland. They simply want their cake and to eat it too. And in the real world that is impossible.

They will likely do what they always have. Heep making the same mistakes until one day, their RINOS will be 100% democrat and come for their big screen and new F350 because the global warming crisis demands they be abandoned. They will cry that it’s unfair and blame everyone but themselves for their plight.

And then oh how they will burn in the camps wondering....

That’s exactly true. And then they go full metal liberal blaming anyone that isn’t that stupid for their situation. They do it on every thread the word “Romney” appears on.

The DNC doesn’t need the Debbie Wassermans and the Al Sharptons to move their agenda. The RINO voters do it every time they pull the lever.

It is just mind blowing how supposed conservatives stand here and say with a straight face that evil is acceptable as long as they personally consider it acceptable. See ‘lesser evil’.

Lesser to who? Them. So its OK. Boy that isn’t the conservatism of either God or the Founders. Certainly wasn’t Reagans approved method. So whose is it? Theirs. And it aint conservative at all. It’s 100% liberal.

They are entitled to their beliefs. They should not be shocked they are being fought as any other liberal and for the exact same reason on the exact same subjects.

Indeed I think there is a fair amount of that. But among Republicans, I am sure most know who the players are.

One would think so, at least know of the candidates that are near them geographically but I have a superior, so-called "staunch Republican" who actually might not know too much about some of the names on there and I'm not familiar enough with her to bring it up.

One could make a case that people who come here are more of "news junkies" compared to your average person on the street. Unfortunate but so however in this time and age, there sure is nothing to take for granted politically-wise.

I guess some Republicans are even the version of the Low Information Voter though, she certainly knows the healthcare fiasco.
