George H.W. Bush upset at Democrat Michelle Nunn’s 'disappointing' use of his image in campaign ads
New York Daily News ^ | October 20, 2014 | Leslie Larson

President George H.W. Bush is displeased that Georgia Democrat Michelle Nunn is using his picture in ads for her Senate campaign. Nunn, who led Bush’s Points of Light Foundation until 2013, is touting her past Bush ties to counter claims by her Republican opponent, David Perdue, that Nunn is an Obama follower. In a new campaign ad, “Familiar,” Nunn highlights her former relationship with Bush, showing off a 2009 picture with the former President, as proof that she is able to work with Republicans and Democrats.

But George H.W. Bush officially endorsed Perdue in September and is upset that Nunn is using his picture in ads for her Senate bid after he specifically asked her not to — calling the blatant disregard for his request “disrespectful.”

Why can’t Democrats just run as the Stalinists they are?

That a Democratic Senate candidate would desperately latch on to a nonagenerian former Republicam President (despite his objections), while avoiding the incumbent President of her own party, tells you all you need to know.

She’d pose with the fat N. Korean dictator if it got her votes. Democrats have no morals when they run for office, or after they get in office.

Try asking LIV about Stalin.
Socialism ain’t such a bad thing to them any more.

Stalin was a totalitarianist, not a socialist.

His spokesman Jim McGrath was talking about this on the Michael Berry show this evening. He said the Bush family had requested discretely earlier this year that she not make use of his image. Since she has blatantly disregarded this request, the Bush family has chosen to go public, making it clear they have endorsed Perdue for the Senate seat.

calling the blatant disregard for his request “disrespectful"

So he asked her to stop using it and Scumbag Nunn ignored him. What a b__tch.

Sam Nunn was one of a handful of D’s I could vote for.
Zell Miller another.
They are far more Conservative than a fair # of R Senators today.

Though I did see Zell endorsed her....(probably more for her Father than any thing else—I hope).

Besides a good many of the voters probably think Sam came out of ‘retirement’. <: <:

That’s probably the best way to handle it now that the ad is out there already. Pretty low when you’re asked to not use an imagine and then go on to use it anyway.

So Purdue needs to do an ad WITH H.W. denouncing the ad. It will destroy her
