ISIS VIDEO: AMERICA’S AIR DROPPED WEAPONS NOW IN OUR HANDS
The Daily Beast ^ | Oct. 21,2014 | Josh Rogin

At least one bundle of U.S. weapons airdropped in Syria appears to have fallen into the hands of ISIS, a dangerous misfire in the American mission to speed aid to Kurdish forces making their stand in Kobani.

An ISIS-associated YouTube account posted a new video online Tuesday entitled, “Weapons and munitions dropped by American planes and landed in the areas controlled by the Islamic State in Kobani.” The video was also posted on the Twitter account of “a3maq news,” which acts as an unofficial media arm of ISIS. The outfit has previously posted videos of ISIS fighters firing American made Howitzer cannons and seizing marijuana fields in Syria. “We feel very confident that, when we air drop support as we did into Kobani… we’ve been able to hit the target in terms of reaching the people we want to reach,” Rhodes told CNN. “What I can assure people is that, when we are delivering aid now, we focus it on the people we want to receive that assistance. Those are civilians in need. Those are forces that we’re aligned with in the fight against ISIL [the government’s preferred acronym for ISIS], and we take precautions to make sure that it’s not falling into the wrong hands.”

Rhodes was responding to questions about a Monday report in The Daily Beast that U.S. humanitarian aid was flowing into ISIS controlled areas near Kobani by truck. That aid was mostly food and medical supplies, not the kind of lethal weapons in the new ISIS video.

And when you drop supplies to a bunch of hungry people, without any distribution system in place, they’ll just kill each other trying to get to it.

Listen to me very, very carefully and take to heart what I am about to tell you.

No one, as stupid and incompetent (at least that’s what it seems like) as Obama and his pals from Chicago could ever become President of the United States. Stupid and incompetent is a very carefully planned front. To be a traitor, they would first have to have been on our side. Obama and his closest cabinet members, advisers, and political appointees have been enemies of the United States since before they stepped foot in our country. Most of them are in fact, foreigners. Muslims mostly. Some born in America, some not. The dots are mostly all there for anyone willing to read and research to connect. As long as Americans keep thinking it is just stupidity and incompetence, no one will realize the danger we are truly in. As many sit here and post about how dumb, incompetent, and inexperienced Obama is, he is bringing millions of illegal aliens into our country, planning on letting them stay here permanently. He has his best buds in the media (all of which have family/friends in high positions in the WH) report he is doing everything to stop ISIS. When ISIS is in reality receiving our aid covertly. This is one of many things going on that are clear as day to me.

No, no, no. They want you to think these people are incompetent. However in truth, they are well connected, intelligent, and evil to the heart of their soul. The world has been deliberately conned by Obama and those surrounding him. It took years to achieve what they have done. An enemy is President of the United States. Do not underestimate these soulless sociopaths. They are clever, conniving, and know how to play the American public with help from the mainstream media (all of which is run by people with close family and friends in the WH) like a fiddle. Master liars and con men. Who will do anything (literally anything) to destroy western civilization. America has suffered a silent coup, the enemy is not at the gate, the enemy is king.

This is not something someone stupid, nor incompetent people could pull off.

No accident whatsoever. Obala has armed them from the beginning, gave them monetary aid and is now giving them “humanitarian” aid.

Well then, if this ISN’T incompetence, it calls into question what side this country’s military would be on when the shooting starts here. Countless times, we’re told, “trust the military will NOT turn on the American people.” Yet, here they are, delivering military aid to a murderous enemy. Why? Because they’re “just following orders.”

Perhaps true, but entirely too late to do anything about.

If we work hard, we can recapture our constitutional republic for Americans in 2016.

It is totally unfair to blame the military for this, and ignorant to boot. Unlike video games, real life military operations are messy. Air drops throughout history lose most of the load outside the wire. It is just what happens in these type of operations. The blame for your type of thinking should be shared by the Pentagon. They have for the last 30 years have made the public believe that they have mastered precision, with their bombs down the chimney videos. It is years later when reading the history do you learn that most of the bombs hit nothing, but most people do not read the analysis, they rely on the day after videos. The military is not trying to miss the drop zone on purpose, the truth is that is what happens when you air drop supplies.

You did not mention the complicity of the ABCBSNBCNNYTimes Consortium and the I’d Rather Abort Priestesses, so I will.

Resupply by airdrop has usually ended in failure throughout history. There is not enough airplanes to drop the tonnages of supplies needed to keep a besieged force fed and fighting. Just ask the Germans at Stalingrad and the French at Dien Bien Phu.

While GPS-guided parachutes have revolutionized supply drops, I'm inclined to agree that they're fraught with error. Still, the volume of allied air attacks on ISIS positions combined with interdiction efforts against ISIS resupply efforts should be sufficient to stabilize Kurdish positions, if not help them advance. B-1's have been deployed over Kobane. Given its ability to carry hundreds of smart bombs, I'd say the Kurds do not lack for firepower, at least while the B-1 is in the air.

Agreed. We, as well as every other Military around the world have endured missed targets in air drops as well as bombing runs. It is interesting that you have posted this twice and yet no-one will comment. I guess common sense is not nearly as much fun as pointing the finger. As you said, unfortunately, when you point the finger this time, you are pointing it directly at the men and women in our military who are working hard to keep our freedom.

That depends on whether they knowingly dropped those loads in ISIS territory. My comment was in context with the assertions this was done intentionally. If resupplying ISIS were directed from the White House, only the military component can make that delivery.

"Resupply by airdrop has usually ended in failure throughout history."

You're right. One of my closest calls during the Vietnam War was one night when receiving an emergency airdrop of ammunition, a USAF C-123 flew the wrong stem of the T and almost put the bundle right on top of me.

I watched the vid that snap’s from, I saw bottled water [Aqua] in the pallet on its side. Later they opened a box of loose pineapple grenades. I thought they can’t ship or handle grenades rattling around loose in a crate, a good bounce and out comes the pin... As the camera pulled back, I saw a hole in the bottom of the grenade body—it looked like a practice grenade. And down the line 3 boxes of linked .50’s. Battlefield pick-up? Further on down they opened another case that had baseball grenades still sealed in their individual tubes, a case of 15 showing. Those I bet were live. Who knows?

I was thinking the same thing. There are instances in World War 2, of supplies being dropped right on German positions.
