To me a former enlisted man this gentleman obtained the “HIGHEST” rank the U.S. Army has to offer . I can’t believe he passed at such a young age. His influence will be carried on by those that got to work with/for him...very sad.

Retirement is lethal for men. Have seen it first hand too many times — man retires, dead within a year. Something keeps the body going when there’s a mission to accomplish.
