We need the workers, Obama has low income American workers all on disability or unemployment too comfy to consider doing the heavy lifting keeping the bricks and concrete moving and our interstates clipped and clean.

It's the workforce, we cannot grow the economy if there are no workers to exploit.

The fortunes built off the backs of the slaves took us well into the 1940’s and the children of the depression parents knew hunger and work were related. Today's millennium's and 5th generation welfare spawn are too special to work.

Since he means that they will roll over for amnesty, I agree with him.

I want someone like Cruz at the helm as it does. If its anyone else, we are headed down a dark road.

Yup. I look around and wonder how many people realize this. I tell my teens, but they don't get it.

We're also headed for persecution. A cardinal recently said, "I will die in my sleep, my successor in jail, and his successor, a martyr."

My point is, it is very difficult to get things accomplished when you are not fully in power.

And when they held the House, Senate and presidency?

That's why they're guilty until proven innocent.

Okay. Stay home. Keep Obama in power. But please don’t complain if you don’t like what he does.

If you believe Obama and the GOP share the same agenda, you’re clearly not paying attention. If you cannot think of any policy differences, your not being honest.

" Congress can vote on and remove any EO a president issues within a time period"

Huh? What's your source for this?

"The GOP and Obama are pretty much of the same mind."

This is utter nonsense. Remember the Obamacare vote? Not a single Senate Republican voted for it, and only one Republican House member voted for it, and he was voted out the next election.

"I for one am not going to vote for republicans until they actually show me something to vote for."

The DNC and DU appreciate your support.

Remember that the republican house could have voted to repeal or defund. They punted. Remember RomneyCare was the model for ObamaCare. Remember the republican leadership wants to pass amnesty. Remember the republican house is all to happy to roll over and let Obama spend monies we dont have.

“OK, so the GOP-E is against “Executive Amnesty”...but what about “Legislative Amnesty?””

That’s my problem. Many Republican candidates had been talking about “reforming our immigration laws” and part of this will be a “pathway to citizenship” for illegals, is this not amnesty? They also mention, sometimes, that this time they’ll protect our borders. haley barbour, lobbyist, accepted money from Mexico to keep our border open and get amnesty for their citizens illegally in the US. Apparently he did a great job with Republicans, democrats and the US Chamber of Commerce. Our two Mississippi Senators are locked in votes for anything haley wants other Republican Senators, like Lamar Alexander, say we’re for a “pathway to citizenship” but now are saying they’re against amnesty. Give us thirty years of “enforced” existing immigration laws and “closed protected borders” and then we can talk about it. These were the promises made thirty years go when the last amnesty deal was made. Ignored by republicans and democrats alike.

Your economics seem to be off a bit. Fortunes built on the backs of slaves? You don’t think any fortune was lost in the civil war? The economy is a process, money has to move, it isn’t going to do any good sitting there.

We have 90 million unemployed in the country, that doesn’t mean we can’t get the economy moving. We need investment and the lower oil and gas prices are helpful, that is billions and billions of dollars not going to Saudi Arabia.

Those billions will be spent doing something more productive, hopefully.

I was about to make the same point, and was deeply gratified to find it was the first post.

The GOP is a parsing bunch, no?

Reince, the right answer is “ALL AMNESTY, not just executive amnesty.”

they can vote for a short bill that explicitly negates an eo.

they can also refuse to fund an eo.

scotus can also rule an eo invalid.

And Obama can veto any bill. It takes a 2/3 majority of BOTH HOUSES to override a veto.

Keep voting the rinos in election after election and once in they keep selling you out.”We’re the only option if you don’t vote for us the democrats will get everything.”

“The President has the right to have his cabinet picks confirmed. Obama Care is settled law. A Republican Senate will confirm the President’s judicial nominees much faster than a Democratic Senate. Impeachment is off the table. After the election we can work with the democrats to find a way to get this (immigration reform)done.”

These are all quotes from members of the republican leadership. This is the plan they’re working on after the election. Are they working on what you want done or what the want democrats done?

I’m so sick of these power hungry, lying, sacks of shiite. And they’ve got Jebbie waiting in the wings guaranteeing President Hillary.

I wonder what Jeb's position is on the Right to Life? Or has it "evolved" like his dad's position on "Read my lips - no new taxes?"

” Thats what funny. GOPe all of them, to the last man and woman, all support amnesty. “

They have all of the big money, and control the Senate.
