‘Not that there’s anything wrong with that.’

My religion is opposed to gay marriage. But it seems to be quite the thing in at least 1/3 of the world now, either gay marriage or gay acceptance. It’s bigger than me and my religion, and freedom is more important to me than what other people do.

Ahh, but see, if you don’t come right out and CELEBRATE homosexuality, you might as well be a hardcore homophobe according to the gay agenda.

They don’t want tolerance, they DEMAND to be celebrated.

Progressives are sick. If they think being gay is so great, why do they say “We’ll out you and let the world know you’re gay”. Maybe to hurt the person with his party but that wouldn’t work in most cases.

Perry V Cruz... it’s gonna be an internecine like none other.

I just noticed Hannity used lighting to ‘age’ Cruz. Must be a Perry guy.

Tim “Faggot” Cook apparently thinks that his customers will care ... and that their impression of him will be more favorable.

Anyone in FreeperLand that didn’t know Cook was queer, please hold up your hand.

It's none of your damn business.

If it stayed in their bedroom that would be true, but it doesn't.

Consider how homosexual perversion has infested government education and try to convince yourself that their presence didn't effect the young people's overwhelming acceptance of homosexual marriage.

Get real. People like you who are always judging and condemning and in your face is what gives Christians a bad name. I find people like you utterly worthless in bringing others to Christ. I would expect you to be massively and aggressively legalistic, verbally condemning and shaming. So sorry for your family and church.

You two are perfect examples of why liberals keep winning.

No this is how liberals keep winning.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Their minds cannot see anything else.

Only small minded morons could ever believe anything as outmoded as the Bible, right?

What an excellent response! Thank you for laying it out so plainly. I like that a lot.

By my question of you, I was not advocating a position contrary to Live and Let Live. So, we’re in agreement with your points, as best as I can see.

The basis of your philosphy was what I was hoping to learn and I think I did. Appears we can fight common enemies together after all. Shoulder to shoulder.

Sincere thanks for the thoughtful reply.

The coming two elections are not the time for purism. They are a time for hanging on to the shred of a republic we have left by the skin of our teeth so we can hope to even begin turning this huge ship around.

Every election was and is this critical, whether we thought so at the time or not.

But when is the time for "purism"?

The answer should be...”Depends on if they are friends or not”...and left at that!

2. Limited government.

Thanks for your post Swordmaker. IMO big government came about as part of the moral breakdown in society. When the people stop believing in God, family, and their (other people's) God-given rights, they also embrace big government and big government is always amoral at best. People have asked their government to run their lives and big government has responded the way it always does, by expanding into the sphere of morality and pushing amorality. Some politicians advocate immortality. Hollyweird's immortality grows more influential as well in that scenario.

We have severe moral deficiencies in this country and big government is part of the problem. The solution is simple: everyone must become more moral.
