Considering many of the Ferguson rioters are brought in from places like Oakland and Chicago, it’s not a far stretch to think some Oakland ferals might be the cause of a lot of the trouble in SF.

Who knows, maybe so. BART trains jammed with fans from across the bay that came into the city to be near the stadium and to be at Civic Center. Around the stadium were probably people who came in from a hundred miles around, a lot of fans in Northern California outside the city. I tend to think many in the inner city were locals, especially in the Mission District. Surprised there weren't more shootings, as there are shootings there on regular days between gangs (they all took a day off for the celebration). I grew up in the Mission District, and have fond memories of partying hard as a teen in the late hours of the night with friends; have since moved away and settled down but people living there now party even more so now.
