... the video chooses to showcase the experience of a white woman experiencing harassment almost exclusively at the hands of black and Latino men...
... the video helps to perpetuate the long-held, erroneous belief that harassment mostly takes the form of white women being bothered by low class men of color...
Hollaback is soliciting viewers for donations, and is thus counting on the outrage of people with money, i.e. people who have disposable income and a certain place in the pre-existing power structure which has no problem with the ongoing propagation of the myth of the white woman as the ur-victim.

Now some people are saying the video is racist.
The first thing I noticed was how the video edited out all of the white men (apparently their “comments” were not sufficiently inflammatory or sexist). The second thing I noticed is that most of the gents were simply complimenting the woman as she walked by. Since when did “hey beautiful” become harassment???
The video is backfiring big time, as the mainstream libs are none too happy with the racist edit job.
black trumps feminism
gay trumps black
green trumps gay
Kind of like “rock, paper, scissors”
All I know is every time I see it happen it is overwhelmingly a black guy grabbing his crotch and saying something vulgar. Probably 80% black and 20% white. Can’t say I ever saw a Latino act that way. It must be a black culture thing. Saw this show called blackish on ABC and a dad and grandpa were showing the young grandson how to say things about women passing by. Maybe that’s why they have no dads, no family structure in the majority of black homes. It all starts at home.
bros before hos....was the slogan during the Obama Hildebeast primary in 2008
In a few years, she will pick up quite a few pounds, cellulite will form on her hips, then the muffin top, gravity will pull everything down, the hair will begin to thin.
Then the men will be catcalling at other sweet young ladies while she can walk the street wishing someone would just notice her.
Like I said.
Rock, Paper, Scissors.
But of course, “Agenda 21” only wants America to have a population of 800,000, so some bros and hos will hall have to go!
Ho de do fo de po bros n hos as dey goes!
Classic black propaganda.
No pun intended.
I could be wrong, but I think she trolled the non-White neighborhoods looking for problems.
Remember also, as you stated, they edited out Whites that were caught on film. They were edited out because they added nothing to her premise, that women are treated so unfairly.
So yes you could say it was a racist edit job, but we would probably be surprised that a lot of Blacks and Hispanics comments were edited out as well, when their comments didn’t fit the required meme.
She’s a feminist first type of woman. She had a agenda. This video was her pay-day for ten hours of trolling.
Woman, you’re an idiot. About all you did is prove that going through the worst of neighborhoods for this issue, you couldn’t do better than this to prove your point.
Most of these men were attracted to her, and simply paid her a nice compliment. Some just said have a good day, or something like, “You sure are attractive.”
God, how could a woman go through life with that kind of evil lurking in the worst of neighborhoods? /s
Oh wait, maybe it's an agenda thang . . . ?
If shed passed me on the street, I wouldnt have given her a second look.
Especially with that dour expression on her face.
Lifes too short to waste time interacting with some pissy missy.
Ha!
It’s incredibly SEXIST!
The men should grab a forelock of their hair and bow...
A gentleman would not say “hey beautiful” to any woman. In days of old, a simple tip of the hat or a nod was enough.
It is not a matter of RACE, it is a matter of CLASS. Believe me, most women consider the catcall or whistle as threatening and are made uncomfortable by these actions.
And a gay black feminist is a royal flush.
Only streetwalkers “walk the street wishing someone would just notice her.” You are not from the same side of the street as I.
She wants to be an actress.
Wait until she discovers all the depraved things she will have to do to make it in showbiz.
LOL!
The producers of the video admitted that your comment is true.
Plus, the neighborhood in which she chose to travel, probably has a minority of white guys - and, as such, they generally keep their comments to themselves.
