My kids are in the minority in their public schools with conservative viewpoints. I chalk some of it up to a stay-at-home mom, and some to me being around most nights for dinner and homework around the table.
You know that scares the crap out of liberals.
My kids have even been told by teachers over the years that their viewpoints might be unpopular with the other kids. Their usual reply is “I can take care of myself, thank you.”
I will never forget the day I quit working to stay home with my children. The feeling of relief that I no longer had to face the boss when a child was ill or needed to go to a dental or doctor’s appointment. Even at that, the first time one of my children was ill, even months after leaving work, I still had that “oh no” moment until I realized I didn’t have to defend my choice of staying home.
He just hates to see them ‘punished with a baby’, donchaknow.

Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) was caught on tape saying ‘these women who stay at home, leeching off their husbands or boyfriends and just cashing the checks (think that) is some sort of feminism because they are choosing to live like that’. She was challenged during the 2012 election and passed off the comment as a ‘light-hearted spoof’ but did apologize. Now, in a Red state like Arizona, how did she get away with this and get elected? There was a Libertarian in the race who siphoned off votes from the Republican running. There is again a Libertarian running and the Media isn’t much covering Wendy Rogers, a Veteran and Pilot, figuring Sinema, who they portray as having moved to the middle (yeah, right) as the winner already. Sinema is a mess.....she should be losing this race.
This is why this coming Tuesday is going to be very important.
Now you women do what he says...it's for your own good. Dump your kids at a government run center, go home and sleep...and collect your welfare check.
He still doesn't get that the government has created this "plan".
Seems Michelle never made that choice.
The state should be raising your children in unionized government schools while moms are paying taxes to Uncle Sugar so the Jarrett/Obama administration can import millions of wards of the state to further entrench the unionized federal bureaucrats and other incompetents ...

My college educated, degree-in-hand daughter-in-love is a stay-at-home, “working” Mom. And believe me, she works! No amount of wages/earnings, etc. can compensate for the love and dedication she demonstrates in home schooling, teaching, and raising up two beautiful, charming, and delightfully sociable granddaughters.

Being a working middle-class mom doesn't really buy that much extra disposable income. Commute expenses, dry cleaning, having to eat out more or bring home prepared food, child-care.
What a working mom DOES do, is provide employment for the people who deliver the above products and services, which may be the point, in Obama's mind.
Just where are the jobs this character wants mothers to have? Does not compute.

We’re on the same wave length but I was wondering more about the upbringing his mother had. I know her mother (the grandmother) worked at a bank but who raised obozo’s mother? We know his mother was a professional student so whatever upbringing he had was up to his grandparents. She didn’t contribute to his upbringing. At least not to any extent from what has been published. Talk about dysfunctional families. The term had to have been coined just from observing that family. And a whole bunch of “nothings” voted to put him in office making us all pay for that idiocy!!

Stay at home moms or dads do not generate tax for big government.
I thank God for previous women's suffragette wars that fought and won all the battles for voting rights, property rights, and equality under the law.
Since I am in my 50s, I can remember sparring against some of the last dying gasps of legal female discrimination in the USA, but the real war had already been won, here in the USA.
I'll be damned before I let the twisted liberals turn back the clock, negate our civil rights, and force women (and men) into inhuman unisex gender roles!
I don't have to explain or apologize to anyone for being a working single mother.
My daughter doesn't have to apologize to anyone for wanting to be a “stay at home mom”.
THAT is the freedom of choice rights the original feminists fought hard for, and they won!
This really isn’t a stay-at-home mom issue.
This is our government striving for cradle-to-grave control.
For the past 15 years, they’ve been trying to sell us the idea of “universal” (government-subsidized) day care.
“Working moms” surely will embrace the idea. And government-daycare will start out as optional.
Eventually it will become mandatory. That’s the end goal, if you listen closely to the rhetoric surrounding this idea.
Reminiscent of another dictator who I’ve heard on this same subject before. Evil fellow with hair growing out of his nose.
