Blanco, Nagin, Jefferson, the culture of corruption among Louisiana Democrats was far and wide in the wake of Katrina.

Mary Landrieu’s so-called “leadership” amounted to continuous rants that everything that went wrong was all Bush’s fault, when, very factually. MOST of what went wrong was due to incompetence, disorganization, lack of coordination and corruption at the local and state level. The people of Lousiana, much more than the national media knew and understood that; & voted out the Louisiana Governor and New Orleans Mayor when they had a chance.
