Yeah, not liking that they’re calling it for Ernst but she is still behind. Wonder if we’re being set up for a story about a comeback for the RATs, and that becomes one of the lead stories tomorrow.

‘But Michelle Obama campaigned for him! How could he have lost?’

No, Michelle campaigned for Bruce Bailey.

Well, for much of the time she did. She eventually got the name right, but it couldn’t have helped Braley all that much, when not even the person campaigning for him knows his name.

And dear Joni will be the sixth pick up, giving them control of the Senate. Thank you, Iowa!

Some of the locals that answered my first post had a good explanation on the demographics etc and it made sense. But I’m with you, my first thought was as you stated..... Good points by all. That’s what makes FR the place to be tonight. Good information from all directions.

Stay safe !

Confusing as all showing her down by at least 5% with 34% of results in....?!?!?

It was confusing but they must know their districts, Joni is now almost tied and will apparently start leaving him in the dust.

The Dem voters must have gotten confused and didn’t see the name on the ballot that Michelle told them to vote for.

I think Braley won. They just said on radio how the ground whatever did it. Just one news outlet is calling it. Maybe it is WHO which is a station in Des Moines.

They think absentee will favor Dems (I don't know about that). It's all a psy op at this point AFAIC but the polls are now closed in IA at least.

Hmmm. The Iowa SOS web site has her down 48.6% to 47.5% with 596 of 1781 precincts reported.

They, WHO TV, called the Iowa race very very close. I don’t know, I hope Ernst takes it, very close.

Trust me, Iowa Dems know where they need to get big vote margins and they’re not getting them. Polk County, Iowa’s largest and a Dem stronghold, has all votes in and Dems are not happy.

Weird. Those numbers are inconsistent with those being shown on Iowa SOS's own web site. Not getting a warm fuzzy about this race:

‘The Dem voters must have gotten confused and didn’t see the name on the ballot that Michelle told them to vote for.’

Lol. You just know Braley is thinking warm and wonderful thoughts about Michelle Obama tonight.

& imagine the competence of a WH that sends the FLOTUS out to campaign, but doesn’t even make sure she knows who she’s campaigning for. There will be bad Dem thoughts in general for the WH in the wake of this GOP rout tonight.
