Mia Love, bidding to become the first black Republican woman to win a congressional seat in 160 years of the Grand Old Party, was trailing Democrat Doug Owens in early unofficial returns Tuesday evening in Utah’s 4th District race.

Good news. When I went to bed last night Mia was losing.
her folks right there... That is special... Whey they came from Haiti to Harlem and then Mia was born. Did they ever have anything like this in mind in the future?
I supported her both times she ran and I just sent her a congratulations check. Good job! Don’t forget that our winners probably have hangover debt and still need a little financial support to recover.

good idea...I too supported her last time and this time....I am soo happy that she got elected because last night when I went to bed, she was supposedly losing...

As conservative as Utah is, the media here is still appallingly liberal. At 10:00 on election night, they were still showing Mia losing by 20 points. There were all kinds of news stories in the days before election painting her as this horrible liar telling “whoppers” all over the place. I’m so glad people didn’t buy that crap.
