The only common ground we want is when they give into our demands.

Enough trashing of America with their idiotic, counter productive and sanctimonious policies which has left us poorer, at more risk and in greater debt.

Time for the adults to implement workable solutions.

Not a week ago Rancy Pants said “no amnesty! “

So what’s the common ground on that?

Real shame to have won and not know why...

I'll tell you why. We are not yet strong enough for a frontal assault, politically speaking. The next two years is to showcase why divided Gov't doesn't work, and why the electorate needs to elect a Republican President in 2016.

Once we own all three branches, we then begin to take apart the beast.

Obama wants to prvoke a Constitional Crisis to get the Right to react, so he can claim "Racisim" and bring out his base in 2016 - don't take the bait ...

This is what people who are pretending to be moderates say.

The GOPe is an enemy of the Republic.

Freepers rebuked me for not voting. Now they know.

Business as usual would not be advisable.

or else you might send a sternly worded e-mail ??? primary the rinos in the next cycle ???

replies stating that the establishment should cleearly see that America voted against the dems is wishful thinking, since the votes were *for* these very rino douchebags that will shortly roll over and screw us...

ya'll were warned that its impossible to vote against a candidate, that option simply doesnt exist on the ballot...

What did Obama say after he was inaugurated in 2009?

He told us we could come along for the ride, but that we had to get in the back seat.

there is no common ground between Liberals[Socialists and Communists] and Conservatives. So don’t expect much from the Republicans and you won’t be disappointed. And Obama will get only 99% of what he wants. But, who that knows how the Republicans operate, did not know?

Don't I know that — it's surprising how many here think that there is such a thing.

Exactly — I think that the majority of the Republicans will see this as a signal that they can continue to stand for nothing and claim victory simply by yelling we're not Democrat — what they fail to realize is that the voters want results, not them to bury the power they've been given.

There is no common ground, fool!

Sadly there is — oh, not between you-and-I and their agenda, but between Republican statists and Democrat statists.
They want power, and they want want wealth, and they want a multitude of crushing laws (to which they are exempt) to get them.

Once we own all three branches, we then begin to take apart the beast.

Do you think we'll get enough non-corrupt in there at a single point in time to do so?

Unlikely, govt is self propagating.
Federal spending as a percent of GNP increased even under Reagan.
A triple R control would only trim the rate of climb.

Exactly my point, and that's exactly why we need to look at alternate solutions — insofar as spending goes, an amendments in this set of amendments I've been working on addresses it.
