Exactly, I don’t get why people think the affair was the focus, when perjury was the real deal. If he had been upfront and got it over with early, it wouldn’t have been a problem. Perjury is serious problem, especially when you were a lawyer like Clinton was. That’s not to say that I don’t despise him for his affair and the bad example he set by it, but still, at least get the legal technicalities right!

I will rate his experience as a freedom loving American Citizen over experience as a politician every time.

America needs to get away from encouraging a ruling political class!

This man is brilliant. That he is not a politician is a good thing.

(Dr. Carson, I would gladly work on your campaign.)

"To be “devil’s advocate” what political experience did George Washington have?"

He was a delegate of the first Continental Congress from Virginia, he presided over the Constitutional convention and there's all kinds of politics involved in being the Commanding General of all the armed forces.

It will be interesting to see what he stands for. He’s smart enough to be President (a decision maker, a people person and motivator with solid core values) and if he’s a good manager, he’ll surround himself with insider smart people who do have political experience. Health care is an important problem that needs reform and he is an expert in this area.

His campaign will tell his story on whether he’s ready for prime time or not. I really like him no matter what happens around the election. The rinos won’t want him “butting in.”

My concern is WE would all get pumped up to support him only to lose because a few million folks jus think it is way to soon for another black person.

We must win at all costs or 2014 will go down as just a waypoint to more liberalism.

Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, comparing Carson to Obama is like comparing an F1 machine to the little toy cars we sat in as a kid and peddled around the driveway.
