[Vanity] Silent Campaign Exposes the Democrats
Vanity | 11/8/2014 | Self

Posted on 11/08/2014 3:36:08 AM PST by sr4402

The Republicans did not have a national campaign except to send back Obama's words to haunt him. It was a nationally silent campaign and whoever came up with it was a genius.

As long as the Republican spoke out about any national issue, the Lamestream Media would speak out against it. Whether it was abortion, healthcare, racial bating; it did not matter, the media would take the side of the Democratic party.

By avoiding speaking on these issues and focusing like a laser on Obama's misstatements and obvious mistakes (Ebola and ISIL), they avoided the Democrats and the Lamestream Media's trap.

Whoever came up with it this time was a genius. But it will only work one time. The Democrats and their nasty henchmen in the media will only redouble their efforts. They will use more race baiting tactics, they will keep up their efforts to make the problems that arise from their bad policies from being discussed and they will continue their hopes to give illegal aliens our votes (you can count on it).

No, this time the silent campaign worked and the Democrats were exposed for what they are. Lets just hope that the American people remember and decide to return to our founding principals rather than to follow the paths the Democrats were on.

"Keep it simple. Keep it narrow. Americans have been dumbed down by the left" leaning media.

The folks need to do a limited boycott of the media to send a message to them to clean up their act. I would love to see an organized cancellation drive where for three months conservatives cancelled all msm, Cable, Movies, Magazines, Newspapers...

We need to hit their wallets, all at once, to show them our anger. Just for one season, to wake them up. The media needs to change how they play their games.

We need to keep Obama back on his heals while he and his minions are still in shock and disillusion.

If there were EVER a time for the conservatives to be aggressive, and I mean more aggressive than they ever have been, then this is it!

We have to roll back the Marxists!!!

"When Republicans speak, they piss off libs. Don’t speak and pissed off lib/centrists vote the other way."

I didn't write that sentence in my Vanity or any posting. Want to try again?

The average voting American showed they know what they don’t want (Obama policy). But I am not sure they know what they really want, and we need to show them.

What I humbly disagreed with you on is this strategy working only once. I believe that the Republicans strategy is not only sustainable but it is the way to destroy the MSM.

The part about Iraq and Afghanistan was just a comment on Obama and the MSM’s next move.

Get more coffee.

I was quoting myself, reiterating my statement in BOLD since you appeared to miss it...not just once, but TWICE now.

"It's the typical Democrat/Liberal/Progressive Bullying tactics. Blame the other for the problem you've created."

They do this with the sequestration all of the time. Both sides of the aisle were involved in passing the sequestration. The sequestration was even Obama's idea to begin with. And yet the Republicans get blamed for it at every turn. You heard it in the Benghazi debacle....Republicans cut funding for consulate security. The ebola crisis....Republicans cut out money for research and preparation. The Secret Service failure...Republicans restricted funds for more training and manpower. All of these deficiencies were blamed on the sequestration and placed squarely on the Republicans every time.

The classic example was the WMD in Iraq. Every major democRAT and the intelligence agencies of countries around the world agreed with the premise that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. But when there were none found, the democRATS and their complicit media, blamed Bush for the war based on false pretenses. They conveniently forget the fact that they had agreed with Bush on the issue before the war was initiated. Scurrying back into the darkness like the cockroaches and rats that they are, so as to avoid any responsibility or blame.

It'll work forever... democrats have been given so many passes by the press they can run fools and idiots... All we have to do is quote them. On the other hand, we do have an agenda... the press doesn't quite 'get it' - because they've bought into straw man caricatures of us... Which again works in our favor. It's a perfect storm and it'll last until there's no blue on the map...

No, the silent campaign will not work again. It only worked this time because Obama was an Albatross and couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Actually no, the Democrats are not smarter. Propose anything, and the Democrats will oppose it, because they always have to play opposite.
