Unfortunately, this is becoming the new face of the modern cop: rude, brutal, mean and not at all concerned with the rights of citizens.
The only thing I’d like to know is if this fat ba$tard thug has been fired yet.
“I’m gonna rip off your head and sh!t down your neck?” No warrant, no reason for the search stated, no nothing but a Gestapo attitude.
And LE often wonders why its citizens hate them.
So, when the lawsuit comes....what do you think the negotiation settlement will be on paying the victim in this case? $250,000? (that’s my humble bet). The lawyer will get forty-percent, for barely forty hours of work.
For the record that cop should be suspended and fired immediately. Probably charged with felony assault.
First, this cop assaulted the Driver. Do you think you can hit a cop just like the way he hit the Driver and not be charged with felony assault?
Second, he violated the Driver’s fourth Amendment right of unlawful searches and seizures. By force ably taking the keys WITHOUT consent to a search.
Third, the cops verbal abuse to people on the street. I don’t care if he is having a bad day. Guess what everybody has bad days. It does not entitle the cop to Bully citizens.
That’s what a police state looks like IMO.
Has this poor excuse for a cop been fired yet? Enquiring minds want to know. This is the type of bad, sociopathic creep who gives modern law enforcement a bad name. They need to be purged so that the good cops, who have a very difficult job, don’t have their reputations sullied by association.

Yeah....he looked too old, fat and stupid to be front line patrol cop. Regardless, he should have been summarily fired when this video reached his superiors. Unions may have prevented this, but he should be given the worst assignment possible (without a badge and gun) until he is tried and convicted of civil rights violations - then imprisoned, IMO.

To my mind, this guy is an embarrassment to the Marines. Let's not besmirch the Corps. My father was a Marine officer in the Pacific in WWII.
Hold on a minute. You took this one cop’s actions and held it up as an example for the entirety of modern policing. I just did the same for the fact that he was a Marine. I hope my point has been received. There are a lot of good cops out there.
