Jesse was UDT, part of Team 12. Team One of the SEALS from UDT was commissioned in January, 1962. Ventura was UDT 12 in 1970. UDTs were phased out in 1983. From 1962-1983 they followed parallel tracks as SEAL training further developed and specialized.

A distinction without a difference in 1970.

However, we are in agreement about Ventura the Mouth.

The man who killed Bin Laden may believe he killed Bin Laden, but there has been no external proof.

We don’t know who he killed.

He may have been a Bin Laden relative for all we know.

All I know is there has been no video of Bin Laden since Dec. 2001, and at that time, Bin Laden was very ill with kidney disease, and holed up at Tora Bora, which was destroyed.

For almost ten years, all we had were “audiotapes” which the CIA dutifully said were all made with Bin Laden’s voice.

Yes, well the CIA has a sterling track record too—they never lie.

Much.

I am from Missouri on this whole thing.

Obola needed something to get the birth certificate off the front page. The Bin Laden operation had been planned to go since Feb. 2011, but Jarrett would not let Obola do it—too risky, especially worried about Muslim world reaction like the good Iranian agent she is.

Panetta and Hillary, to their credit, begged Obola numerous times to let the raid go on.

Finally, Obola agreed in May(three months later!), not because he wanted Bin Laden, but because he needed an out from the growing questioning on his identity, which became big news.

And the approval came out a price—Panetta was to take FULL responsibility if the raid failed.

Obola would take the credit if the raid succeeded.

That is the real POS we have as CinC.

No pictures, no DNA, worry about Muslim sensibilities, burial at sea according to a never known before “Muslim tradition”—that’s bull. What—the Navy ship didn’t have a freezer?

I lost three friends on 9/11/01, two on Flight 93 and one a fireman at the WTC, no one worried about MY sensibilities.

The SEAL who killed Bin Laden had no way to verify who he killed. He was told what he was going to do, where he was going to go, and that he succeeded in his mission.

As far as I know, it could have been someone else, and the “KILL” was trumpeted far and wide after it occurred to show how Obola the First was, and to gin up his re-election campaign the following year. Funny, no one worried about how crowing about Bin Laden being snuffed out might affect Muslim sensibilities.

Under normal circumstances, the fog coming out of DC is hard enough to see through.

But since January 20, 2009, it has been lie after lie.

Someday the entire history of the last six years will have to be overwritten with the real truth.

And it will not be pretty.

The “killing of Bin Laden” will be one of those revised stories.

“You are a conspiracy loon.”

Nope. You’re just a jackass who apparently can’t understand simple words in the English language.

” I am from Missouri on this whole thing.”

I am from Missouri and I 100% believe Robert O’Neill .
The guy has got balls of steel to come out and tell the story.
That so many refuse to believe him is sad . The guy is a great American hero , exactly the kind of guy we need right now . Support him , do not diss him . To say you are still ‘unsure’ is to call the guy a liar. Just like all the s#it that the 3 Benghazi contractors faced . They are not lying , they are actually telling the truth .

I do agree that this is the perfect time to press for the release of still photos or videos of the operation that exist , to confirm the kill .
Maybe folks can get their Congresscritters in the new Congress to do just that . Go for it !

LW, I never have dissed the man or the men on the mission.

My disbelief is directed to whether the man who was killed was really Bin Laden.

Ok , sorry sir . I was also referringto others commenting on this thread.
I donot see O’Neill as being a misinformation tool for Obama .this is truly his own story to tell. If only McRaven would back him up and stop being such a suck up for Obama . He too knows the truth

I thought it was sickening at the end of Part 2 when Rob O’Neill said that his killing of bin Laden was covered under the “Rules of Engagement”! It’s absolutely outrageous to think that every one of these men put their lives on the line—indeed didn’t expect to live thru it—and had to be concerned about violating this ridiculous “rule”. And in fact so did our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Who was it who instigated this stupidity so that our troops have to keep looking over their shoulders for lawyers while in a life or death situation?

Remember this is the same psychodynamic the 4 seals of Operation Blackbird on that mountain in Afghanistan when they were discovered by the goat herders. They stood on that mountain and worried about al Jazeere reporting that SEALS had killed 3 simple goat herders, including 2 children. So,.......3 SEALS took a risk because of those ‘rules’ and it cost them their lives. What a shame. Same thing with the thought process of Ron.
